>oppo: D H2 D.. +11 349
>Tunnicliffe: AACCHOS 10D A. +2 305
#note desperately need to bingo. Gotta open it up.
>oppo: P 8D P.. +11 360
#note Nice block
>Tunnicliffe: ACCEHOS J11 OE +8 313
#note In hindsight, I would play something else.
>oppo: GLLRRRT -RRRLLGT +0 360
#note This is a key turn. My opponent actually draws NINE tiles on the exchange here. I flipped over RAZE on the overdraw procedure and threw AE to the bag. That would be key later on.
>Tunnicliffe: ACCHOSS -CS +0 313
#note Need to bingo and it isn't going to happen with these tiles. Gotta trade here. Keeping ACHOS seems solid since I can score even if I don't bingo. Tossing CS into the bag.
>oppo: RTZ G3 ..Z.T +23 383
>oppo: RTZ -- -23 360
#note Teehee, well, it's plausible!
>Tunnicliffe: ?ACHIOS -IO +0 313
#note Yes! The blank! But I still can't bingo. So tradesies again, I guess. Gonna ditch the clunky vowels and see where ACHS? takes me. Bye bye, IO.
>oppo: GRTZ 10B GR..Z +39 399
>oppo: GRTZ -- -39 360
#note Short for CONGRATS! But not in the dictionary, unfortunately. Anyways, see if you can figure out what my next play is going to be. It's a doozy!
>Tunnicliffe: ?ACHIMS 9J .y +0 313
#note Okay, so this play is without question the best play I have ever made. So I know from the overdraw earlier that AE is in the bag. I know from my two exchanges that CIOS is in the bag. I know from oppo's two phonies that he holds DRTZ. The only unaccounted unseen tiles are RRLL. Why am I burning my blank for no points? Well, no matter which tile I draw (from the possible ACEILLORRS), I will draw into a seven-letter bingo. And no matter which of those tiles I draw, the bingo will fit on the L column, thanks to my setup. And here's the best part: No matter what rack my opponent has (GRTZ and three of LLRR), he will no be able to block the spot! My bingo is going to score 93 points at least. On this board, with what my opponent has, that bingo is going to guarantee a win. Okay, I admit that my play during this game was sketchy. Those exchanges were especially questionable. But with this immensely clever play, I would say this was a well-deserved win.
>Tunnicliffe: ACHILMS (AICHMS?) +-13 300
#note There's just one problem, though...
>oppo: GRRRTZL (GZRRRTL) +-17 343
#note I lose.
