#player2 Joel_Horn Joel Horn
>Dustin_Dean: ACIITYZ H7 CITY +18 18
#note CITY is second to 8G ZITI which scores 26 and keeps ACY.
>Joel_Horn: ?BKNNOO G10 BONK +22 22
#note 7C BONNO(C)Ks 74
>Dustin_Dean: AEILOQZ H13 AZO +42 60
>Joel_Horn: ?ADENOV F6 DOgVANE +80 102
#note Best bingo. CONCAVED, VOIDANCE, DONATIVE, and DEVONIAN are also available.
>Dustin_Dean: AEEILQR E5 QI +25 85
>Joel_Horn: AINORST D6 AROINTS +70 172
#note 15H (O)RATIONS 77
>Dustin_Dean: AEELRTU C2 UREAL +15 100
#note I11 UREA is best, scoring 9 more, keeping ELT, and opening a phat lane.
>Joel_Horn: CEGMNTU D2 MET +20 192
>Dustin_Dean: EELMRTU B1 UM +22 122
#note B2 MEL 30 is best, with MELT for 34 close behind in the same spot.
>Joel_Horn: CDGIINU 15D DING. +9 201
>Dustin_Dean: EELNRTV 8A VET. +21 143
#note LEV(O) in the same spot.
>Joel_Horn: CILOTUW 14B TWO +15 216
>Dustin_Dean: DEILNRS 3C ..DLINERS +62 205
#note Best. Two other bingoes, 9H (T)RINDLES/(T)ENDRILS, play at 9H.
>Joel_Horn: CEHILUY H1 LU.CH +39 255
#note Had I played 9H (T)RINDLES or (T)ENDRILS, he would have had CU(S)HILY for 57, or CHYLE(S) for 51.
>Dustin_Dean: AEILOPT K3 .POLIATE +70 275
#note Consecutive nines possible here with the ravishing B7 P(E)TIOLA(T)E for 63. But SPOLIATE is best, even after specifying his S-containing rack. Change the S to a D, however, and PETIOLATE prevails.
>Joel_Horn: EIIRSXY 11K SEXY +50 305
#note Interestingly, 4K (P)YXIE 36 is favored here, followed by L8 XI 36 and 4K (P)YREX 50.
>Dustin_Dean: ADFNORU 12L DUO +28 303
#note DUO is second to I13 FA, which I decided I would play after DUO, for a combined 62 points, which seemed decent given rack and board. Champ favors DUO as well.
>Joel_Horn: EHIIRRW J8 HEW +37 342
>Dustin_Dean: AFNR I13 FA +34 337
#note Best. Forgot to write down my rack.
>Joel_Horn: ?ABIIRR 1E RAI.BIRd +59 401
#note Only bingo. Nice find by Joel.
>Dustin_Dean: AEENPRS J14 PE +30 367
#note See note at the end regarding this position.
>Joel_Horn: AEFGIJO B7 F.IJOA +32 433
>Dustin_Dean: AEEGNRS M9 NE..S +26 393
#note L4 ERASE or 8J (HA)NGER/(HA)NGAR all score 33 and give back 6.
>Joel_Horn: EG 4K .EG +12 445
>Joel_Horn: (AEGR) +10 455
#note J14 PE didn't create a second lane on the right, so he could just block the V lane, which is exactly what happened with ENGRA(V)ES.
So what to do?
Without specifying his rack, 8J (HA)P is favored, keeping 1 in the bag and leaving AEENRS, which, by drawing one of the two unseen Gs, hits ENGRA(V)ES through the V or, on the right side, M2 ENRAGES.
However, after specifiying his rack, AEFGIJO, L8 PA 21 is best, because I necessarily draw EG which bingoes on both sides of the board: A6 RE(V)ENGES or M2 RENEGES. His best play in that case would be F(E)IJOA 32, putting him at 433. I then bingo out with RENEGES for 77, get 6 for EG, and win 441-433.
