>Jonathan_Lindh: DEEGNUU 8H UNDUE +14 14
#note UNDUE or DENGUE.
>Dustin_Dean: GIISTTU - +0 0
#note Exchange 3. Not actual rack.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEFGHNO K7 F.NGO +18 32
#note Looks good.
>Dustin_Dean: FIS L10 IFS +20 20
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEHOTUY J6 YO. +20 52
#note Not doing anything that sets up an S after Dustin's last play. YOD is fine.
>Dustin_Dean: ?ADEKST 9B DAnKEST +65 85
#note H7 OUTASKED for 67 is the highest scoring bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEHILTU 8A HIDE +35 87
>Dustin_Dean: ELOV 7E LEVO +14 99
>Jonathan_Lindh: ILOOTTU M11 TOLU +16 103
#note Fake S setup hoping to eventually draw into it.
>Dustin_Dean: AX 10E AX +56 155
>Jonathan_Lindh: BEEIMOT 11A BIOME +32 135
#note Best.
>Dustin_Dean: AADE A11 .AAED +27 182
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACEETTT 6D TET +11 146
>Dustin_Dean: EOTY D11 .OTEY +28 210
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACEILRT 5A RECITAL +79 225
#note Best, but I took WAY too long to see RECITAL. I had too much coffee to drink at breakfast so I was both jittery yet playing slowly. A horrible combination.
>Dustin_Dean: HIU C2 HUI. +18 228
>Jonathan_Lindh: AIOPRVW A1 VAPO. +33 258
#note Not bad, but 14H PAVIOUR for 40 is my cup of tea! Scores the most, turns over tiles for SS? and is boldly aggressive. That is best. I was pretty low on time so I wasn't seeing PAVIOUR. VAPOR is in the top 5.
>Dustin_Dean: ANRS 15D .ARNS +24 252
>Jonathan_Lindh: ACILNRW B13 AW +22 280
#note J11 CRAWL for 27. I was low on time. AW does not accomplish much.
>Dustin_Dean: IP D1 PI +12 264
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEIJLNR H12 JIN. +19 299
#note 1D PINCER for 30. Turns over tiles, scores, and does not open triple triples after an opponent's two tile play like 14J INJURE does. I like JINS better than INJURE, but PINCER is the play.
>Dustin_Dean: IORSZ H1 ZORIS +55 319
#note PINCER blocks this.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEGLNRW 14K WR.NG +18 317
#note WRUNG is a stroke of genius! It looks completely insane at first glance, but there are a lot of things I can draw to in the pool that not only bingo but triple triple! Dustin may not be able to block the triple triples a lot of the time. Even if he does, I often just have the bingos through the floaters in ZORIS. Dustin's rack is random enough after ZORIS so there is a good chance he has drawn the Q and WRUNG blocks easy Q dumps. The Championship Player has WRUNG in 2nd and A2 ACHING for 32 in 1st, but when simmed, WRUNG comes out ahead. I thought I made some really good pre-endgame plays all tournament long and this was possibly the best.
>Dustin_Dean: ?EEIMNR 3F tE.MINER +76 395
>Jonathan_Lindh: BCEGLQR J2 Q. +31 348
>Dustin_Dean: A 1H .A +11 406
>Dustin_Dean: (BREGCL) +22 428
#note Final score recorded as 418-337 because Dustin and I each went over by about 30 seconds and I underscored a play by one point.
