>New_Player_1: GIORRTV H4 VIGOR +26 26
>Quackle: IZ 6F ZI. +33 33
>New_Player_1: AEHRTUU 7C UREA +16 42
#note I did considering trading UU, which Q prefers to my play. -5. I saw HAUTEUR, but did not want to give Cesar so much playback by playing the non-bingo. Turns out I was setting him up anyway.
>Quackle: EEFM 8A FEME +37 70
>New_Player_1: HLMNTTU 5G M.NTH +24 66
>New_Player_1: HLMNTTU -- -24 42
#note I think this turn determined my outcome for the entire tournament. Missing HILUM, TILTH, and LINUM, and instead playing a phony, against one of the best players in the country, is a recipe for disaster.
>Quackle: AGO 6B AGO +15 85
>New_Player_1: HLMNTTU 8G T.UTH +8 50
>Quackle: EIINOSS L2 IONISES +76 161
#note This placement surprised me. I guess Cesar figured he had a better chance of drawing an L? Still seems risky. Or maybe he just didn't want to give me the S to use. Q says win percentage for this placement is 88.49, valuation 74.3; whereas L4 wins 88.46%, and valuates 74.9. So just about even either way.
>New_Player_1: ACDDLMN 3I MAC.N +24 74
#note I did not see CLAMORED (28.1). Did not see CNIDA (26.2). I played MACON figuring I could cash in on the L next turn, but Q still prefers LAND for 27 by 5.8.
>Quackle: AEGINUW 2E GUINEA +19 180
>New_Player_1: ?BDDELO I7 D.B +16 90
#note Sam, you nitwit, you know that BOLDED is a word.
>Quackle: IO 9I .IO +12 192
>New_Player_1: ?DDELRT K8 ..LDER +20 110
#note Really felt like I needed to keep the board open, HOLD is tempting, for the excellent leave.
>Quackle: IO L10 OI +7 199
#note Took about 3 turns for me to notice his phony.
>New_Player_1: ?ADEENT A8 .ATtENED +86 196
>Quackle: ATW B12 TAW +26 225
>New_Player_1: AALNOST 1L LOAN +24 220
#note Missed LOSARTAN, which I haven't studied yet. It was just added.
>Quackle: IQ 1G QI +50 275
>New_Player_1: AFNRSTT M11 FAT +19 239
#note I did consider FART, which Q prefers slightly. But this does create a new lane with DIFS, and HOLDERS is already open, along with DUBS, as well as MACONS, and theoretical 8s from the N or T.
>Quackle: LPRW 12I PR.L.W +28 303
>New_Player_1: ANORSTX K3 .OX +44 283
>Quackle: BEY C13 BEY +32 335
>New_Player_1: AEINRST O9 ANESTRI +87 370
>New_Player_1: AEINRST -- -87 283
#note Yet another turn that really just broke my spirit for the tournament. I did see ANTSIER/HOLDERS/FATE. But I said to Cesar, "I'm simultaneously too scared of you to play this word, and too scared to leave it open for you." If PRELAWS is good, I don't think I have much of a chance of winning after he bingoes there. If it's not good, well, then the more qualified expert wins the game. In reality, of course, if I had just played ANTSIER, I probably would have won.
>Quackle: CKSUY 14G YUCKS +35 370
>New_Player_1: AEINRST N3 STEARIN +69 352
#note I did not even consider the 3 line, where RETAINS fits. Not that it mattered, but if Cesar hadn't drawn a bingo, it might have.
>Quackle: ?ELOPRV 10C PLOVERs +75 445
>Quackle: (DEHJ) +30 475
