#player2 Benjamin_Bloom Benjamin Bloom
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ACIRTW - +0 0
#note Exchange the W, keeping ACIRT?. I felt confident about bingoing immediately after the exchange 1.
>Benjamin_Bloom: EFLX 8H FLEX +28 28
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ABCIRT J2 CATBRI.r +69 69
#note Another cool bingo. So many great finds this tournament.
>Benjamin_Bloom: DEETW 4H WE.TED +28 56
>Jonathan_Lindh: EGIJOOO I6 OG.E +17 86
#note Considered 7E GOJI for 25 as well which Quackle prefers over my play. I am ok with my play, keeping OOE does not do much for me.
>Benjamin_Bloom: CERU 5E CURE +17 73
>Jonathan_Lindh: HIJOOQS 3G JO +23 109
#note I like 5J BOHO for 30 to care of the easy scoring spot. I did not generate that possibility.
>Benjamin_Bloom: AEN 5J .ANE +21 94
>Jonathan_Lindh: HHIIOQS F4 S.Q +32 141
>Benjamin_Bloom: DEZ 10G ZED +20 114
>Jonathan_Lindh: EHHIIOV 3L HO +24 165
#note Saw 3L HOVE for 34, but not doing that after Ben's last few short turns.
>Benjamin_Bloom: ADNRTU 11B TUNDRA +25 139
>Jonathan_Lindh: EHIIITV 2H HI. +18 183
>Benjamin_Bloom: AEEIPSV B4 PEAVIES. +67 206
#note I held this play for a very long time. I strongly considering challenging, but I talked myself into thinking PEAVY was an adjective that compared instead of it just being a noun. IF PEAVIEST* came back good and Ben hit A8, I could be royally screwed. 12G PEAVIES for 90 is the only valid bingo.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEIIOTV 8A V.TAE +27 210
>Benjamin_Bloom: IKNT C2 KNIT +22 228
>Jonathan_Lindh: IIINOOW 2A WI.I +22 232
>Benjamin_Bloom: AENORST 12G SENATOR +78 306
>Jonathan_Lindh: AILLNOO A1 O.L +18 250
>Benjamin_Bloom: RYY H12 .YRY +30 336
>Jonathan_Lindh: AGILNOR 14H .OARING +20 270
#note ROARING is not bad, going for the blank and forking the board, but I had 8H FLEXAGON for 60! That's definitely the play. Ben and I both saw FLEXIONS throughout the game, but never FLEXAGON.
>Benjamin_Bloom: AAB 13K ABA +24 360
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?ELMOPS O8 cOMPELS +92 362
#note ROARING worked, but I needed to find PLUMOSE in this spot doubling the M. I looked but could not come up with anything. Would you pass up bingoing? You could make the argument for something like N1 MOP for 22, but the pool looks a bit clunky and I don't if I would trust myself to find blank bingos with a Y in these situations. Also note the extremely low probability A15 POLySEMY for 92!
>Benjamin_Bloom: DFIMNUU - +0 360
#note Ben unsuccessfully challenged.
>Jonathan_Lindh: GILO 1D GI +10 372
#note G5 RIG for 17 is best.
>Benjamin_Bloom: DFIMNUU N10 MU +26 386
#note Best. MU was one of Ben's wins if he did not challenge COMPELS/ROARINGS.
>Jonathan_Lindh: LO N2 LO +10 382
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (DFINU) +18 400
#note After this game, I was 15-5 headed into lunch and in 1st place. Little did I know what Albany had in store for me.
