>Jonathan_Lindh: DGILOTY 8H GODLY +28 28
#note This is the game that started my 1-7 ending to the Albany tournament. I was in 1st place for rounds 19 and 20. GODLY looks best.
>Vera_Bigall: BH I7 H.B +15 15
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADINOQT J6 QA.I +43 71
#note Best.
>Vera_Bigall: IM K5 MI +19 34
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADFINOT 4J FADO +21 92
#note Definitely blocking after Vera's last few plays.
>Vera_Bigall: ALST 10J SALT +23 57
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIJNTTT 3M JET +38 130
#note Hard to do after Vera's last few plays, but playing scared rarely wins.
>Vera_Bigall: EER 5M ERE +13 70
>Jonathan_Lindh: AINRRTT O1 TI.T.R +21 151
#note Close. O1 INTREAT for 24 in the same spot is a little better. Disconnected plays are hard.
>Vera_Bigall: AENO H7 A.ONE +17 87
>Jonathan_Lindh: AALNNRR 11D LANN.R +12 163
#note Looks good.
>Vera_Bigall: ??CEIUV 3D UnVoICE +68 155
#note 1H CURVIEST for 86. That is why INTREAT is sightly better than TITTER because it doesn't give up the big _EST lane.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADGOPRU H1 GR.P +30 193
#note GUID in the same spot is an improvement strictly on the leave alone. I didn't see a lot of plays I liked here. Hard turn.
>Vera_Bigall: ABK 2J KAB +39 194
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADNOOUU D8 DOU.A +16 209
#note DOULA is nice but F3 VOUDOUN for 15 completely cleans up the rack and digs more for the S's. DOULA is #2 and VOUDOUN is #1. About an 8 point mistake.
>Vera_Bigall: ILM 8A MIL. +21 215
>Jonathan_Lindh: GNOSTUY 5D GOUTY +29 238
#note Major mistake. N10 YOUNG for 50 is the play. Could not come up with 5's starting with a Y. Missing YOUNG probably started my losing streak.
>Vera_Bigall: IX 11K XI +38 253
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEINSUW 12J WEE +28 266
#note I think I have to do WEE or EEW with all of the E's out.
>Vera_Bigall: AZ 1K ZA +28 281
#note Scored as 27.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EINNSUV B6 VE.N +15 281
#note Should be C6 VULN for 12.
>Vera_Bigall: DIPR 13K DRIP +30 311
>Jonathan_Lindh: INOORSU N12 U.O +10 291
#note Moment of truth. I saw I had one of the last remaining N's and decided to set up a big bingo lane with (UPO)N. If the other N is in the bag, Vera may have problems blocking and scoring at the same time and I can bingo to the G in GRIPY or the M in MILD. However, I was about to get T boned with what Vera had.
>Vera_Bigall: CEHNW O8 WENCH +60 371
#note WENCH and FINCH are the two death scenarios for me. If Vera can't play one of these two, I have a very good chance.
>Jonathan_Lindh: INORSST 14M N. +4 295
#note I saw SORTINGS and did a rare thing and intentionally passed on it. Me passing on a natural bingo? It happens but it is the right call. SORTINGS never wins. I hoped to bingo out and have Vera make some kind of mistake. At the time, I wondered if (DOULA)S was a better fish as counter-intuitive as that sounded at the time. Quackle seems to agree and thinks a bunch of fishes win 1 of 8. However, I dont see anything that wins for me, barring a mistake from Vera.
>Vera_Bigall: AEEEFIS 13A FEASE +23 394
#note I11 RAISE for 13 blocks my bingo. That takes a lot of confidence to play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: IOORSST 15G TSOORIS +77 372
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (EI) +4 376
#note Final score recorded as 393-376.
