>Quackle: EHMNNOU 8G HUM +16 16
>New_Player_1: ABEGGIO H6 BO.GIE +9 9
#note Quackle likes BAGGIE or BOGIE here. I was so frustrated about not being able to easily play off of HUM, I almost exchanged. Putting the B at B9 isn't too dangerous, especially if Froilan doesn't have an A or high-scoring tiles. -9
>Quackle: EHNNNOS 7G O.H +28 44
>New_Player_1: AAFGIJQ 10F AJ. +12 21
#note Q prefers FAG here. Again, I considered trading, which sims about equal with my play.
>Quackle: ENNNOSW 6H .OW +24 68
#note Aside from bingoing (NONNEWS), Q prefers ENOWS/BOUGIES or NOW/AW.
>New_Player_1: AFGIPQT 11E QI +24 45
#note Q prefers QAT, which I passed on because I didn't want to give back 30-40 points if Froilan has an I. QI sims 3 points behind it. Interestingly, PIG/HUMP sims just behind QAT. I guess Quackle is thinking BOW was a setup for a 2x2, but given how clausterphobic the board was, I wasn't thinking that way.
>Quackle: ENNNSTZ J8 SEZ +41 109
#note I'm actually surprised this sims best. It does score well, but the leave is atrocious. I guess that's not such a concern in a tight game like this. Trading NNZ sims 6 points back.
>New_Player_1: AAFGIPT K9 FAG +30 75
>Quackle: BNNNRTT -BNNRTT +0 109
#note Not sure why he kept an N here. Keeping RT sims highest. T seems pretty useful with EF open for bingoes, but NRT and NR are right behind RT. -3
>New_Player_1: ?AAIPTY 12D PITY +32 107
#note Silly Sammy, ZAP scores 3 more. And of course I missed PITAYAs. I definitely deserved to lose this game by a lot more.
>Quackle: EEEGNNR 13G ENG +13 122
>New_Player_1: ?AAAAOT -AAAO +0 107
#note Hurray! I chose the right letters to trade! I'm so smart!
>Quackle: AEEENRX 13B AXE +24 146
>New_Player_1: ?AADDTU 14B DUAD +32 139
#note I still don't know my fives. AUDAD is clearly better. -8
>Quackle: CEELNPR 15D LEPER +34 180
>New_Player_1: ?AEESTV L7 VETS +26 165
#note Froilan and I were both amazed that there are no 7s here. Q prefers fishing with AVE or EAVE at 5J. I'm fine with this. I still have an okay lane under the G, and if Froilan uses my E to hit the TWS I'll have good lanes for 8s.
>Quackle: ?CDIINR 15A ID +14 194
>New_Player_1: ?AEEENS 12I AE +5 170
#note Q wants to play this at 5J. I really do not want to open it right now. I am down, but this gives me a better bingo lane, and I'm very likely to use it on my next turn with such a good leave.
>Quackle: ?CINORR 5J ORC +15 209
>New_Player_1: ?BEEENS 4D BENdEES +74 244
#note I'm just writing ShEBEEN here in hopes of remembering it when I need to someday.
>Quackle: ?EIILNR H1 LIN. +12 221
#note I thought Froilen was worred about slotting the E at O14, but it turns out he didn't even see aIRLINE. wIRELINE through my E is a safer option.
>New_Player_1: ACOTUVY 2E CAV.TY +24 268
#note VACUITY is best, but I didn't know that word. VATU under my bingo is also decent. Or on top of it to be slightly more defensive against bingoes.
>Quackle: ?EIIRRW 5B WEIR +22 243
>New_Player_1: LOORTUU 6C LOR +13 281
#note This sims at -8, compared to 11 for OUR/COVETS. I think Quackle is smoking crack. I'm up a little, and a bingo along the triple is basically a death knell. It also wants me to play OUTRO, which either sets up an S at O1 or at N14. Go home Q, you're drunk. If someone could explain why my play is so bad, I would appreciate it. I thought it was okay because it blocked the W, which isn't the greatest tile to play a bingo through, but is a potential threat. I really wanted to play TROU, but CUER isn't a word.
>Quackle: ?FIINNR 7A RIF +20 263
>New_Player_1: MOORTUU A7 .UMOUR +27 308
>Quackle: ?AINNOT 14I eNATION +69 332
>New_Player_1: AAIOSTT M13 A. +4 312
#note I have exactly one winning play here, and this ain't it. In fact, any play involving the TWS loses. I have to score decently on both turns. I spent a long time trying to find something that fit under his bingo to the triple. Turns out, all I needed to do was play AITS on top of it. That leaves me with OAT/COVETS (which I never saw), but even without that, I can play MOAT/OK, assuming he still plays that. If he doesn't play OK for 16, I think I can just run away with it. My thinking with AI was that if he plays he K at N15, I can hook my A to score well, and he can't go out. Or if he plays OK, then I have STATION. I was getting tired and did not realize this sequence comes up short.
