>Patrick_Beatrez: ADELPVY K6 PL.YED +22 94
#note Awful play, I spent a long time here and knew there had to be something better but couldn't find anything. The simple 7G PLAY for 30 is much better, and I wouldn't have been sure of G4 PEAV(E)Y if I had seen it.
>Lorraine_Lopez: AJR L10 RAJ +25 59
>Patrick_Beatrez: AEGILLV I1 VILLAGE. +64 158
#note Missing the new RAJA hook for 21 more points.
>Lorraine_Lopez: DIOT 1G DI.OT +27 86
>Patrick_Beatrez: EENNOTT M11 NOT +19 177
#note And now missing the TOQUET hook until after I hit my clock, luckily I have another T to get another shot at it. M9 TENON is clearly best, with 13B NONET the play I saw after hitting my clock.
>Lorraine_Lopez: UV 7K .UV +14 100
>Patrick_Beatrez: EEEENRT 13E ETERNE +23 200
#note Looks good, TEENER would open a hotspot at H12 and RETENE/ENTREE would float a tile at D13.
>Lorraine_Lopez: AN - +0 100
#note Challenged TOQUET.
>Patrick_Beatrez: AAEEHII H11 AE.IE +18 218
#note Not playing 14I AHI obviously. H11 HI(R)EE scores a lot more and is drawing into a consonant-heavy pool with 18V-33C-1B, but AERIE is standard.
>Lorraine_Lopez: AN J5 NA +14 114
>Patrick_Beatrez: AAHIIMW 14J HIM +29 247
#note I missed the word WAAH which plays at N12 for 35. 9C MIA(O)W for 26 would also be a much better play on equity and is a little more defensive than WAAH. HIM just scores points and keeps bad, but at least it's a consonant heavy pool.
>Lorraine_Lopez: R G8 .R +6 120
>Patrick_Beatrez: ?AAISWW 3D qAWWA.IS +67 314
#note Ridiculous draw. N12 WAW for 33 is neck-and-neck with the bingo.
>Lorraine_Lopez: AEISZ 15K SEIZA +52 172
>Patrick_Beatrez: EGHOOPT 14B POOH +23 337
#note Obviously the game is decided at this point, but 4K HOOP or 2E POO look better, and J8 (O)OH I didn't spot and scores much more.
>Lorraine_Lopez: DFIN 15A FIND +41 213
#note This is why POOH is not great, easy plays like FIND score over 40.
>Patrick_Beatrez: CDEGNTU E2 C.NT +12 349
#note Terrible play, but nothing is very inspiring here. Best on equity by far is N8 NUDGE but it opens an easy line, and with only 7 vowels unseen it might not be the worst idea, but I wanted to hold onto my vowels. CANT also sets up the S hook with 2 remaining and I don't have one. I wanted to play G(A)UD instead which would've been a decent play, but last second held onto the vowel even though it's a U.
>Lorraine_Lopez: EK 12L ..KE +16 229
>Patrick_Beatrez: BCDEGSU O8 BUDG. +27 376
#note Best.
>Lorraine_Lopez: OR 4K OR +6 235
>Patrick_Beatrez: CEIOSTY 12D TY. +21 397
#note I knew CANTO but didn't play COY there for some reason. I either need to play that to score, or fish off the Y and play for a bingo with NOTICES or EROTICS.
>Lorraine_Lopez: AU D3 .UA +10 245
>Patrick_Beatrez: CEIOSSX 1A COXES +52 449
#note 13M (T)IS first is 1 point better since COXES first allows (O)RBING for 26 then I play TIS and win by 207, whereas TIS first forces them to play 10H FIB(ER) for 25 and then I play COXES for the same score.
>Lorraine_Lopez: BFGILNR C4 BLING +17 262
