#note battle of the ranges
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADENNRT 8G N.. +5 31
#note I dont mind this at all. Q likes BINT as well
>Jackson: EGIILPW J6 GIE +14 33
#note normally J5 WIPE is solidly better, around 5 points, but I figured a lot of his racks have Ss in them. GIP can do well against racks without an S, but again doesn't do well if he has an S. The reason to maybe play either one is just to respond better when he does bingo, to not have ILPW. WIPE could still be the play just to be more flexible overall, and to do better when NAB doesnt have an S. Tough position. GIE sims better with quite a few types of bingo + S racks.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADELNRT I8 ..RL +6 37
#note I think Josh considered ALEXIN here for 22, which Q likes. TA(XI) is also good, or DAL/BID. RELAXIN seems to open up a bit too much. Q does not like BIRL as much as the other one tile BI? fishes, or exchange N, DAL, TAXI, ALEXIN. Still only around 4-5 down in the sim.
>Jackson: AGILLPW 11H G.IAL +12 45
#note now BIRL seemed like it had fewer Ss - I would think he would play a one tile fish more often from S racks, but maybe NAB had ELNRST, or had some type of S rack that didn't hit with an R or L draw? I still think the no S makes more sense. GLIAL wins a sim well with ADENT implied, it blocks by far the most. Feels not great each turn to just take th emost defensive option without trying to actually improve my range much, but when the options of improving my rack are to something like AGLP, who really cares
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADEJNRT 12K TAJ +26 63
>Jackson: ELOPPTW 13J PEPO +42 87
#note felt fortunate to come out of this exchange alive. POW could be reasonable given his likely lack of S, but he could still draw one, and could still have one potentially more than random.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?ADENRS 14F RADNESs +76 139
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?ADENRS -- -76 63
>Jackson: ELLSTUW 7F LU. +10 97
#note this or GULL or exchange LUW. LUV wins a sim. ELST does bingo back more after RANDIES, but the points + new lane on the 6 row can be good for me.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?ADENRS 14E RANDiES +71 134
>Jackson: ?ELSTWY E8 SWELTe.Y +76 173
#note not a word! this rack is WESTERLY
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EIIIMMT 8A MITI. +24 158
>Jackson: CEHNORT 6A CHORTEN +79 252
#note preferred over NOTCHIER for 4 more for defense. Still could be a bit premature, and given the 15a juicy spot, NOTCHIER can help me have better counterplay, but overall I like this plan
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADEIMNO A1 ANEMI. +39 197
#note wasnt sure of ANOMIC
>Jackson: EEIOSUZ H11 .UI.E +24 276
#note another value of CHORTEN is that plays at 15a can help wall Josh in - part of why he played at a1 instead of ANOMY. This could often result in good 15a plays for myself.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADNOOOU 5D OUD +18 215
#note maybe ODOUR? very uninspiring
>Jackson: BEEFOSZ 15A BEEF. +51 327
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADKNOOO 4A .OOK +34 249
>Jackson: AORSSVZ 2A .AV +12 339
#note maybe ZO(O) instead. just wanna prevent 2 bingoes. Q plays at B10 a bit of a concern.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADENORU 6J .OURD +11 260
>Jackson: CHORSSZ O6 SOH +26 365
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEINNQY L2 YANQ.I +36 296

>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EEFINOR B10 FERIN. +34 330
>Jackson: ADEGTTW N1 GA.T +10 407
#note GA(Z)E is the best endgame
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEO M12 ..E +10 340
#note ....mostly because this gives back AE(R)O still!
>Jackson: DETW F9 EW +31 438
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AO K2 A.O +19 359
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: (DT) +6 365
