>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEHNNRT H7 NAH +12 12
#note now is the time to play NTH! Exchange N is also reasonable, as are THENAR and HENNA. NAH is okay too, but looks worse than the other options. Exchange N is nice because of the scoring tile, 48/93 hit 7s, but those 7s hit harder than your usual AEINRT fishes, plus the bailout racks when you don't hit will score more. NTH or ex N look like the best options here
>Jackson: EIINNOR I8 ION +12 12
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: EENRTTW J6 WENT +24 36
#note WETTER wins a sim here, WENT second. the board is not great for ERT after my likely overlaps, even though the RAIN hook lane on the G column often stays open.
>Jackson: EEIKNNR K5 KEN +21 33
#note another turn passed
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AADERST L5 AD +16 52
>Jackson: AEEIINR M2 ARIE +15 48
#note his range after AD is actually really narrow. So many hooks to AD, so he basically never has a scoring tile, and basically can't have a rack where he simply couldn't hook AD (he would never play AD keeping a Y or V, and would never have all vowels). He basically has to have a way to hook it but for that to be worth a 5 point sacrifice, to not play SAD, RAD, TAD, LAD. AERST is one of the only things he can actually have. Maybe some blanks, but it's hard to see a rack that makes sense with a blank that doesn't just bingo. What else could he reasonable have besides AERST? Even the L makes it hard, cause LAD usually is worth the 5 points. The N is surely in his range too, so stuff like AENRS could be the leave. I was tempted to exchange down to AEINR given his range, but the problem is that AEINR doesn't even bingo so much here, nor does EINR. ARIE still bingoes some itself with EIN, and while AEINR could play with RAIN, it really wants 8s lanes, and IONS bingoes don't always give good lanes. ARIE wins a sim with and without his leave implied
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AERRSTU G6 RUT +11 63
#note he considered U(N) as well. RUN also looks good for defense and a solid leave, that sims best by a few over UN, which is a couple over RUT
>Jackson: AEILNOX N1 OXEN +44 92
#note totally spaced on AXONAL, despite looking. I think I was not sure enough of the word, it looks abit weird. Huge miss. I figured OXEN could get offset a bit by him bingoing elsewhere with his solid range, then I hit an AXE play.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ACEEHRS 11C REACHES +78 141
>Jackson: ?AEILRT B9 LIbRATE +78 170
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ABDEFRV 15A V.RB +36 177
#note good idea to keep FED in reserve while blocking this spot and keeping a pretty workable leave, but FAB A13 looks way more solid a version - it keeps DEV O1 as a reserve too, but scores 7 more and bingoes more immediately too, plus some nice BE- extensions wiht DERV.
>Jackson: EIIOQSU H11 .QUES +72 242
#note EQUILIBRATE is sick and not even that bad a play, just 13 down in the sim
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADEFMOT O1 FEM +54 231
#note was not expecting this spot to take 5 turns to hit when I played OXEN
>Jackson: AEIIOUW 4L W..E +40 282
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADLOOOT A7 DOAT +19 250
#note OOT F5? makes things feel a bit more hopeful
>Jackson: AEEIIOU -IIOU +0 282
#note will die on the hill that this is the right play here.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: LNOOSTY F11 .OLY +17 267
>Jackson: AAEEFJO B6 JO +28 310
#note another weird turn. Hated leaving the E open on the D column, but blocking the C column is nice too. Maybe JEF(E) is the play, with no Es out the worse he can do is just JEFES. That is not ideal but also not the end of the world. This game will be an easy win if I can thwart him from bingoing
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: LNORSTV C5 VOLT +22 289
>Jackson: AAEEFIU 12B .EF +24 334
#note Maybe VAU here is better, blocking some occasional F column bingoes and aving both Es for better plays on the bottom left. I remember not liking that it can give some good D column scoring plays. REF seems okay too, just seems like the E could be more useful than that.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: DNOPPRS 13A P.P +24 313
>Jackson: AAEITUZ 15H .AU +3 337
#note moment of truth. I didnt care if he hit 14J with the M, since with the E and the Z I can still probably beat those plays a lot and remain in the lead. I wanted to block game-ending bingoes, maybe even fake a setup and have him think I have an M.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADNOORS 6I O... +8 321
#note NARDOOS for 69 yo
>Jackson: AEGILTZ D6 GLIA +25 362
#note I remember not thinking about STAIN enough here, just F1 bingoes, which didnt scare me as much cause I can hit the Z bag. ZAG might not do as well against MU plays, but I think the upside, given his range especially, is there.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ADGNORS F2 DRAGONS +77 398
>Jackson: EGIIMTZ 14J MIG +22 384
#note Q likes TIMID and then MIG here, then MAIZE. I considreed all these, and MI and G(R)IT to set up RITZ with a blank draw. I looked for stuff on the 2 column like MIDGET that could give me two outs with the right draw. Really I saw nothing that won without a draw from god, and MIG seemed to win with a draw from God, basically when I can threaten ZESTING or something or he can't do an out in two.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: BCIIISU 15L IBIS +25 423
#note no wins
>Jackson: ?DEITYZ 3D YI.D +10 394
#note gotta block URIC and DUCI and keep an out. ADZ for 12 is the best and coolest win, setting up DEITY in two places. (D)ITZ also cool.
