#note This rack, while LEGIT AF if you will, seemed pretty awkward for this board. I didn't see the G being that good here and was looking to partially block the S if I didn't see anything that scored super well. With that said, 9C GELATI for 26 is insane board vision and didn't spot that. #visionlarge

#note Anything that doesn't slot a vowel next to the Row 3 hotspots floats my boat. And I figured since there's already an open E at the bottom, let's vary the floater options more by slotting the E right before the S. Oh, and also, "yayyyyy".

#note Yep
>Jerome_Loch: ACEENT C9 CETANE +37 125
#note Nice play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: GINNPRU A1 PUN. +27 199
#note Slam dunk. RING is a beautiful leave.
>Jerome_Loch: AIO H12 .IAO +18 143
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGINPRR G11 R.P +15 214
#note Didn't feel like doing B2 PE(E)RING to help out Jerome while I'm ahead. I can wait to play more than 2 tiles here and the sim favors keeping a bingoey leave on a board that has nice floaters in more than 1 area of the board. Misscored as 16.
>Jerome_Loch: IJO 2F JI.O +27 170
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEGINRT I13 GID +20 234
#note As annoying as it is to repeatedly not be able to bingo with promising racks on a board that's great for bingoes, the clear winner is 5E IND(I)TER for 41.That's a miss. I can reasonably blow up the rack for something that doesn't open anything up that's that dangerous for Jerome.
>Jerome_Loch: AF B10 FA +28 198
>Samuel_Kaplan: AAENRTW 5E ANT.WEAR +102 336
#note Yes! This is the type of play I should have seen last turn. #visionsolid
>Jerome_Loch: DELRU A11 RULED +24 222
>Samuel_Kaplan: DHNOORT 6H .OH +31 367
#note I did not know 3H THORON here. That said, I liked this play to eliminate some bingoes with the PIGS hook.
>Jerome_Loch: EEZ 3C ZEE +51 273
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADKNORT 4K TAROK +34 401
#note Could also play it a little safer with L4 D(R)ANK, but since this pool has some drek, I don't see him hitting a 3x3 through the K. So I was fine with grabbing 4 more points here.
>Jerome_Loch: OY B14 YO +25 298

#note Maybe O1 BON(K)ED? #findingmedium
>Jerome_Loch: OV L4 ..VO +7 305
#note This is a nice play. I will have a hard time preventing a potential bingo from coming down.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DINNOTV N3 N.D +9 443
#note Probably should just do VOG here. I'm not scoring much and the V isn't doing much at this time.
>Jerome_Loch: ?IQRSSU M7 SQUIReS +87 392
#note The blank can be made several different tiles here. I'm glad I didn't empty the bag.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EHINOTV L12 HIVE +32 475
#note Or HOVE. Basically the same play knowing he's playing out with QI.
>Jerome_Loch: I 8M .I +11 403
#note Some interesting fishing exhibitions followed by ANTIWEAR which basically won the game for me. Final score was recorded as 476-409. 4-0 +412. Next up is a duel with the top seed and is one of the most important games of the day.
