#note Yep. Good start.
>Lynn_Cushman: FIQU J4 FIQU. +37 37
>Samuel_Kaplan: EKNOOPR 4J .ORK +22 92
#note Wasn't crazy about Column I plays, and they would actually benefit me more they would benefit Lynn because I am keeping a 2nd O. They also restrict Column K plays and potential 2x2s on Row 5. Yes, this sets up a nice scoring move of PEON on top, but I would say I3 KOP is a little better and the sim puts that and E4 POOKA ahead of FORK. #visionsmall
>Lynn_Cushman: AET 9G TEA +13 50
>Samuel_Kaplan: BEENOPR 3K PEON +30 122
#note I guess my setup stayed open. And yes, this is more sound than M1 BRO(K)EN with her decent range.
>Lynn_Cushman: AEOORT D3 ROOTA.E +16 66
#note I guess she drew 1 vowel too many to her decent leave.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?BEEHNR 7F EH +21 143
#note C9 BENcHER. That's gettable. #findingsad
>Lynn_Cushman: IST K3 ..SIT +31 97
>Samuel_Kaplan: ??BENRV 10I VERBeNa +70 213
#note While I am glad to have spotted this one with 2 blanks, since every playable bingo opens up 3x3s, the play should be 3A oVE(R)BuRN for 4 more. Small mistake.
>Lynn_Cushman: ADHOS O1 DOSHA +46 143

>Lynn_Cushman: OO L10 .OO +10 153
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEILNSW 1H SWINDLE. +95 381
#note YES!
>Lynn_Cushman: AGU 3A GAU. +10 163
>Samuel_Kaplan: IMNPWYY A1 PY.MY +57 438
#note I first saw 13J WIMPY, which is a good play. PYGMY is next level stuff. Not a word one would see too often. As someone who hopes to go to nationals for the 1st time next year (I'd play D1 if I do go), these are the plays I need to be able to find.
>Lynn_Cushman: FO 2I OF +31 194
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIINTWZ 12A ZEIN +53 491
#note I can score this much, but C5 WIZ is more sound and keeps a much better leave. That's the play. Sort of the opposite of last turn.
>Lynn_Cushman: BIJ C5 JIB +33 227
>Samuel_Kaplan: ADITUWX B6 WADI +35 526
#note Definitely not doing B6 WAX giving her free points and when I can draw plenty of plays starting at H11. I can also hit AX or EX at A8 if it's not Column H plays.
>Lynn_Cushman: CIN A12 .INC +45 272
>Samuel_Kaplan: ACETUVX H11 .XACT +66 592
#note Yea, plenty of things have gone my way this game.
>Lynn_Cushman: AELNRTU 14H .ENTAUR +22 294
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEMRUV O8 DR.VE +27 619
#note Best play.
>Lynn_Cushman: L O8 .....L +9 303
#note Very well played game until this comical fail. For some reason, my brain saw the blank as an I instead of an A (DRIVEL is valid), so that explains this phony. With that said, it did not affect the spread in this club because the spread cap is 200. So it is "the same" in this case, but in a tournament, I do need to call this off. Final score was recorded as 619-289 because she went more than 1 minute overtime and I gave her 2 extra points. 2-0 +281.
