>Jackson: DEINOWY H4 YOWIE +30 30
#note I can never remember if YOWED is a word. It makes overlaps a bit easier but still looks better overall because of raw equity. YOWIE sims second, close with YOW, around 3 points below YOWED.

#note with nothing specified, WAFERY sims around the top with FRIED and WRIED - interestingly, FRIED and WRIED result in around the same average score for me next turn, despite the minor FOZY setup. With his actual rack implied, DGLNPST, FRIED sims way ahea dof both plays (partly cause WAFERY happens to give him PLED, a much better equity play than his options after ?RIED). I had a read that he did not have a great rack with PEWED, so I did think that S + 6 consonants was likely, especially given the PEWED* -> SPEWED setup. With that in mind FRIED sims best, I think it's the way to go either way given the FOZY setup and keeping things tight.

>Michael_Fagen: AX 13L AX +21 142
>Jackson: DEFLSUW N10 FLUED +44 234
#note sim is close between FLUED and WUD. I liked keeping things tight after WUD, but given the L column I liked keeping the scoring pressure on.

>Jackson: CHIKRRS 9B CHIRKS +33 299
#note strongly considered R(e)CK and CHIRKS. RECK can set up some scoring plays, it blocks the N column (and M column), keeping JEANS possibilities. It seems better on paper, exept that CHIRKS can put me up by just enough to start enacting an outrunning plan, whereas something like RECK can also let him score his way back in with an O1 play. Seems close, sim is very close between the two plays and HECK. I liked the board CHIRKS could lead to, since M or N column plays will often come down very naturally without need for much sacrifice, which will close the board - plus, CHIRKS can help exhaust the bottom left and close the Y in FOZY, which would otherwise be annoying to block

#note CORING might be better here - blocks slightly more bingoes and scores slightly more next turn. P can be nice if I draw an L for the O12 spot, plus just scores well in general while blocking the top right. I considered PROG N5 as well for the best immediate bingo defense, but I did not like how O1 plays wouldcome down, both scoring and opening a new lane to address - I much prefer outrunning here and maintaining a bingo+ lead. I prefer CORING overall
