#note moment of truth - challenge GIVY* and play HIJRA or play NI(G)HTJAR? HIJRA is 38 keeping NT, plus giving Josh back GIVY, bad tiles, plus guaranteeing he doesn't improve his rack next turn, which is lowering risk. It occurred to me there was a small but nonzero chance GIVY was some sort of bait phony where he has an 8 that could play, but nothing seems really plausible he could be gunning for. NIGHTJAR is a raw 15 points extra immediately over HIJRA, but the leave difference adds value to challenging. I didn't strongly consider the challenge upside of NIGHTJAR, since I figured he would realize given how long I was holding that I might hate GIVY and was just thinking about the decision the whole time. Def underestimated the chance of drawing a challenge. I finally opted for NIGHTJAR because I also preferred the board after NIGHTJAR, avoiding any tight positions that could get ugly early on.
