>Steve: EIMNRSZ H4 ZINES +48 48
#note This game, played in Elmhurst, was a nonrated after-tournament game with the winner getting $20.
I played ZINES almost immediately, but a sim has it as 4th best! 8D MIZEN comes out on top, then ZEINS, and then MIZEN at 8D.
>Eric_Eisner: ?LLORSU G8 UnROLLS +59 59
#note There are two double-double options that score 78. One makes the blank an E, the other a C.
>Steve: AEIMNPR 3H AMP +25 73
#note Word knowledge is a weakness of mine, and here I miss a 91-point bingo. There is also a non-bingo dbl dbl on row 11.
>Eric_Eisner: AFQR 5E FAQ.R +34 93
>Steve: EEINNRT 6F NI.E +23 96
#note I saw the bingo INTEN(S)ER but elected not to play it for a few reasons. First it created an easy hot spot at 15H, and left another easy hot spot at 6F open, and thirdly, I was only 80-90 percent sure of INTENSER being valid.

>Steve: AEEINRT K5 RETAINE. +86 182
>Eric_Eisner: BCO 4D COB +24 191
>Steve: ?ADEORW 8K .WARD +39 221
#note A few missed bingos here. I looked for a few minutes thinking there must be something, but settled on AWARD, which scores well and keeps the board open.
>Eric_Eisner: BEGOO N3 BOOGE. +13 204
#note The same word scores four more points at 10B, but perhaps Erik senses my strong leave and opts to make bingoing more difficult. The same letters score nine more with the obscure GOBOES at 14B.
As a side note, a hidden benefit when holding the case blank and not bingoing is that opponents will often go for turnover rather than equity in the search for something that isn't available.

#note 14B SCHAVS This word comes up once in a while in study, but I don't think I've ever played it in a game.
>Eric_Eisner: DIO 1G .OID +24 304
>Steve: EHLNSUU 8A SHUN +31 437
#note I was so tempted to set up the S and just play HUN here, but that leaves a chance of losing and 20 bucks is 20 bucks. The bot says HUES or ULUS.
