>Steve_Anstandig: IJNX 8G JINX +36 36
>Patrick_Beatrez: AAEIRUV 9J UVEA +17 17
#note E(X)UVIA is the star play here, it scores 7 more than UVEA and gets rid of another vowel.
>Steve_Anstandig: ?AENOTU H3 EqUAT.ON +57 93
#note N9 sOUTANE for 73 is the only bingo that really scores anything, but it opens up a huge line on the 15 row. OUT(E)ATEN is the next best scoring bingo at 66 points. 7 points is probably too much to give up here.
>Patrick_Beatrez: AEGINRT L2 INTERAG. +72 89
#note As it turns out, I would've had GRATIN(E)E for 140 had he played SOUTANE.
>Steve_Anstandig: DMO K5 MOD +25 118
>Patrick_Beatrez: AABCIOY 8L .ABY +32 121
>Steve_Anstandig: NOOT M2 TOON +21 139
>Patrick_Beatrez: ?ACIIOW J2 CIAO +18 139
#note Static likes 10F WI(N)O for 15 keeping ACI? instead of my play which scores more and keeps IW?. Static has ACI? as 11.2 points better than IW?, which is incredible.
>Steve_Anstandig: EEP K9 .EEP +18 157
>Patrick_Beatrez: ?ADIRUW 12J U.WARD +28 167
#note L11 WAUR keeps a little better but opens up a big line with 4 Ss still unseen. UPWARD keeps it difficult for him to do anything this turn, and there's plenty of room on the left for my to bingo with a blank S or to the E in EQUATION. Perhaps I should be more aggressive with my blank and just play WAUR.
>Steve_Anstandig: ALU O12 .UAL +15 172
>Patrick_Beatrez: ?EFIILR 6B FILaRI.E +70 237
#note There are surprisingly few bingos here. 3A FILIgRE(E) is the highest scoring at 72 points but it opens up the F in the triple line. FILaRI(A)E is 70 points, but it also puts the A in a dangerous spot for scoring and double doubles, so maybe it's not much safer than FILIGREE. Sim thinks I should just take the two points.
>Steve_Anstandig: DEHIRR E5 H.RDIER +40 212
>Patrick_Beatrez: AENOSTY 13L OY +25 262
#note Clearly fishing off OY is going to be best here. Interestingly, OY is 5 points better on static than SOY for 12 more points.
>Steve_Anstandig: EF F10 FE +28 240
>Patrick_Beatrez: AELNPST C3 PLA.NEST +74 336
>Steve_Anstandig: IV 8A VI. +18 258
>Patrick_Beatrez: GHILORS 12F HOG +18 354
#note I saw O1 OGRISHL(Y) but decided against it since I wasn't sure of it, the only way I can lose this game is by losing a turn somehow. That would've been nice to get down but I am not in contention to win the tournament at 3-3 after this game, so just making sure of the win is primary. N3 GOSH for 30 is probably better, especially with two more Ss remaining.
>Steve_Anstandig: AK N14 KA +26 284
>Patrick_Beatrez: CIILRST 13B CRITS +24 378
#note 2J (C)L(IT)IC or (C)R(IT)IC are cool plays. 13B CLITS is probably better than CRITS.
>Steve_Anstandig: EW G2 EW +18 302
>Patrick_Beatrez: GILMOQZ D2 QI +15 393
#note Missing 1D GIZMO for 65. There is DENSEST available in the pool which plays at the top so I have to block. GIZMO is obviously best, but QI will do the job (and blow a lot of spread to plays making QIS).
>Steve_Anstandig: BEENSST 4A BE.S +42 344
#note Best.
>Patrick_Beatrez: DGLMOZ B13 .OZ +28 421
#note Best.
>Steve_Anstandig: ENST 1E TENS +18 362
#note Best.
>Steve_Anstandig: (DGLM) +16 378
