>Jackson: EGINOSS H7 SOIGNES +68 68
#note ex. O hits 59/93, ex. S hits 62/93, but EGINSS seems to hit more 8s, so overally EGINSS has a slightly higher bingo percentage. Along with the extra value of keeping the extra S (helps unload bad draws better next turn while keeping an S), ex. O is definitely the call here. I started out the turn not liking SOIGNES* very much, but kind of talked myself into it, at least enough to warrant playing and accepting the challenge if it comes. Jason held for a while, remembering SOIGNE as well

#note I think Jason must have missed or been unsure of some of the ROVED hooks, DRY looks like an improvement here

#note slightly more defensive to slot the I than the E.

#note could exchange here, especially with ?? out to draw, but AAETU has enough outs with VALUTA and VACATE and such that keeping the scoring pressure on feels right. this sims about a point ahead of exchanging down to ET, I thought it might be more

#note was happy to have kept looking to find this - does exactly what I want to do to the board

#note I was looking for X setups to consider, since CADE is somehow the best I can do to block the C. I did not see AJE(E) I2, which I might have been tempted to do. That said, it's not even that good a setup, since I am always getting just 50 points after 19 (except super occasional OXO plays), and 69 points over two turns to leave the C open and add a new 8s lane doesn't sound too appetizing. 21 now then hitting the J or X later, while keeping things tight, seemsbetter. The added benefit of CADE is that by forcing more of his bingoes to be at 14I, I can often bomb the J or X in response, so AEJX is actually a better leave than it first seems

#note was about 99% sure VALGAL* was not good, but since spread barely mattered atthis point (if I win this game, I wouldjust have to not lose 3 games in a row, and maybe I could withstand sub-10 point losses in each if I go for more spread now, but it didnt seem likely). VALGAL* could lead to the occasional loss if I challenge and he bingoes since that leaves 1 in the bag, though even then it would be a tough game to lose.
