>Patrick_Beatrez: DEHIMNR H4 MENHIR +28 28
#note HM is an interesting play here to make her turn difficult, but if she also plays tight and I don't draw a playable bingo it could get even more difficult for me. MEHNDI is better than MENHIR, and maybe HINDER is better than MENHIR so I can at least score something with the M.
>Marian_Calabro: PRVY 5G P.RVY +26 26
>Patrick_Beatrez: AADEEST I5 .EAD +17 45
#note Very tough turn, I wanted to play G5 (P)EA which is better on equity, but it sets up a huge Z spot which she could easily have after her PRVY play. I4 A(R)EA also for 17 might be better to eliminate some of the disaster vowel draws.
>Marian_Calabro: ?DEEGST 10C EDGiEST +70 96
#note 10E eGESTED is 76 points, setting up the E in the double-double line is dangerous with my fishy play, so she may want to play GuESTED instead for 72.
>Patrick_Beatrez: ABEESTT 9C BEAT +23 68
#note I hate blocking these floaters but the equity is so much better than the other plays. Hopefully she doesn't have an O and a big play above it...
>Marian_Calabro: FOOR 8A ROOF +49 145
>Patrick_Beatrez: CEIJOST 7H ..J +13 81
#note Not much to do here, I thought about 4C JETSO(M) to continue scoring but I felt like I needed to bingo immediately.
>Marian_Calabro: ALT 11E ALT +18 163
>Patrick_Beatrez: CEIORST 11I EROTICS +70 151
>Marian_Calabro: GPU O8 PUG. +21 184
>Patrick_Beatrez: ADDIIOW 6E DWI.. +21 172
#note I thought EDGIEST only took HLS and specifically not W. B10 WAD for 35 would've been a great play here.
>Marian_Calabro: ALNU 5B LUNA +14 198
>Patrick_Beatrez: ADIIOQS 12A QADIS +55 227
>Marian_Calabro: EITX 4B EXIT +41 239
>Patrick_Beatrez: IIIKNOT 12K KIN +26 253
#note 6A OK for 33 leaving IIINT is just awful.
>Marian_Calabro: COO N6 COO +15 254
>Patrick_Beatrez: GIIOOOT -GIOOO +0 253
#note I don't particularly want to play N11 (C)OOT leaving GIIO and opening the S hook, even if there's only 1 S and a blank left. Exchanging a lot seems like the only other option. The pool isn't that great, I decided to keep IT for some stability but perhaps I should also throw in the T just to have more chances at some scoring tiles.
>Marian_Calabro: ERW B10 WE.R +35 289
>Patrick_Beatrez: ?EIINTZ - +0 253
#note The challenge here hurts a lot, I was holding a bingo that puts me in a great position but I was so certain of the EDGIEST hooks that I decided to challenge.
>Marian_Calabro: EI 13A I.E +23 312
>Patrick_Beatrez: ?EIINTZ 13F cITIZEN +77 330
>Marian_Calabro: AHN 14I NAH +34 346
>Patrick_Beatrez: AAAEGSU 15E AGUES +21 351
#note I thought I was in a much better spot here than I actually am. M9 GA(IN)S scores a ton of points but leaves the INN hook for her to use, and she probably kept the hook when she played there. I was okay with keeping the AA leave with the lack of vowels in the pool, but maybe 4K AGUE setting up my S in another spot is better. That play would force her to empty the bag if she wants to use the INN spot.
>Marian_Calabro: ER B10 ....ER +18 364
>Patrick_Beatrez: AAFMOUY 6A OF +27 378
#note Apparently the best endgame is to play off 6A UM. Lots of plays win here since she drew so poorly at the end.
>Marian_Calabro: BLLNOOV 14B .BON +14 378
#note N11 (C)ONVO looks better.
>Patrick_Beatrez: AAMUY 4K MAYA +25 403
#note N11 (C)AY setting up O13 AMU looks better for spread.
>Marian_Calabro: LLOV - +0 378
>Patrick_Beatrez: U A6 .U. +3 406
#note G10 (ET)U)I for 4.
>Patrick_Beatrez: (LLOV) +14 420
