>Jeffrey_Nelson: GGHO 8E HOGG +18 18
>Jackson: DIIORRT 9F ROID +17 17
#note considered TORII and ROID and HORRID, mainly. I felt like TORII might lead to greater protection of HOGGS, which is not something I want. Still, ROID can lead to constant S-hooky board positions, which is not something I like, even if I might be able to avoid it sometimes. I liked HORRID as a play to force the board open, but I felt it might be too big an immediate sacrifice. A sim prefers TORII, but I wonder if it has Jeffrey giving me a lot of HOE-D plays, cause it has the main difference as me averaging more after TORII than ROID. Either way, I think HORRID or even THIRD are better plays to keep the board more alive, I really prefer that when I have a big rating advantage. TORII might still be a better version of ROID.

>Jackson: ILRRTTX -ILRTX +0 17
#note RIFT was strongly considered, but the hooks are quite annoying, and not something I want to give for free. It sims pretty well, and maybe it is not out of the question to expect a good amount of RE underlapping plays, which are a great outcome cause I can hit REX. That might be the play just to go for that positive outcome - keeping RT sims about 6 back.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: ?ILMNQZ J6 ZINs +37 72
#note actual rack - the top 20 static moves are all exchanging here
>Jackson: OORTTTU 10D TO.T +11 28
#note OTTO E10 is not bad, and does get things going on the board better - I prefer that.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: AELMQST 7I Q. +21 93
>Jackson: DIORTTU 11A TUTOR +16 44
#note I think I didn't see OUTDO, which might be a good way to bait the phony S hook while opening the board. Q likes TUTTI and TUT and ZIT as well. Doesn't love TUTOR. I think TUTOR might be abit reckless at this point, and it really hammered home that I had misplayed the position at some point, to be in this early position where I am already tempted to throw caution to the wind. TUTTI or OUTDO feel right to me.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: IMPS 12B MIPS +35 128
>Jackson: ?DINPSV A8 DIP. +21 65
#note I liked the valuation of DUMPS, but also liked extending to the top left a bit more proactively. Sim loves just VUM - I can expect some ZA plays at least, so DINPS? could actually do well here. While VUM closes the top left immediately, it does leave OVUM forks open - stuff like TOD later on will actually be pretty helpful. VUM might be the play here.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: ABELU 8J .EBULA +33 161
>Jackson: ?DINRSV O6 VI.ND +9 74
#note could not come up with INVADERS here! That sims about 7 points better
>Jeffrey_Nelson: AEELLRU L3 RULEA.LE +70 231
>Jeffrey_Nelson: AEELLRU -- -70 161

>Jeffrey_Nelson: AEELLRU 13L LU.E +8 169
>Jackson: DENORVW 12K REN.W +39 196
#note Missed VRO(U)W M5 here - with a random rack, RENEW sims slightly better, since the board is not great for bingoes and the extra points are more helpful. However, with AELR implied, VROUW sims a bit better, since I will want to counterbingo more, and RENEW makes his odds of bingoing slightly higher, keeping the B open and the 14 row to end with L.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: AF K5 FA +21 190
>Jackson: ADEGMOV L4 VEG +32 228
#note VOG 11J is actually pretty good here, setting up GELD for me to bingo with. VEG still sims a couple ahead. I don't mind VOG because this is a board where the first to bingo will have a really big advantage.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: AJ K10 JA. +20 210
>Jackson: AADEIMO B9 DO..A +19 247
#note A sim likes BIO L8, then AA 9C, then AM(EN), then ODI(UM). DOUMA felt a bit reckless, and maybe it is. S plays can def catapult him to a lead. It felt like a position where I didn't care too much if the board becomes S dependent because I will need to draw an S in any case, but maybe there are more proactive ways to deplete the future Ss of all their value. I liked DOUMA to promote scoring plays for both of us and start exhausting the bottom, which will be hard to do by just playing on the 14 row hooking EL, since that gives back the 15 row. DOUMA can obv backfire bigtime, but it also felt like a more proactive move than just AM(EN). BIO could be the play, just a dumb waiting move... Keeping the D for ELD bingoes is good.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: ACELLOR 13A L.CE +28 238
#note actual rack
>Jackson: AEHIKMT 11G HAIK. +20 267
#note didnt love makin the x bomb, but at least he never had it last turn. HAIKA a similar idea to last turn, turn over tiles for the S and promote H11 plays that can finaly kill the bottom. (L)EK wins a sim - a waiting play that seems like it doesn't accomplish enough. AM(EN) is the other play that sims above HAIKA.
>Jeffrey_Nelson: OO A13 .OO +9 247
>Jackson: EEMNRST 9M M.. +15 282
#note I hit with so much of the pool that this felt safer than (A)MENT, which is only decent at outrunning bingoes, and can run into trouble if he hits first.
