#note JM: This was always a good rack to go second with before LORNEST became a real thing, which I somehow don't always find.
JS: it still looks new to me too
>Jackson: AAEGINN I4 A.ENA +20 48
#note didnt love playing on this side of the board, and GEAN does sim around even with this. The other play that sims near the top is G4 E(T)A, which sets up ING words. the duplicated N is not so bad for the leave since ING separates the AN for the root word. Close in the sim overall.
>Joey_Mallick: BEOTTVV N2 VOT. +14 80
#note JS: wild that this is tied for top static play - I did not expect his range to have such clunk, but this play sims best, just to obstruct the biggest spot on the board if he can't do anything productive himself.

#note damn, I missed the beautiful hY(D)ROXYL here for 79. I spent most of my turn deciding between ORYX and p(I)XY. ORYX sims around 5 better.

#note I figured a J was somewhat high in his range, so I liked playing here. Could do CUM for a sort of defense, but I didnt mind encouraging some 8a plays, since I counterbingo a lot after those. UM sims way ahead of CUM, also helps me hit the 15 row more often
>Joey_Mallick: GIJNSST 3M J.T +20 181
#note JM: Don't think I ever even considered looking for JESTINGS.
JS: JESTINGS is a word! I might have challenged had he played that

#note considered FETCHING here, but FAE after TRANQ works great to guarantee FACE if it stays open
>Joey_Mallick: HIKOORS 15L HO.K +51 319
>Jackson: AAEEFIR A1 FERIAE +32 353
#note moment of truth - I could do A(R)EAE 7a here to block all bingoes and try to hold onto my 17 point lead, but I figured that if he has the blank I am probably dead no matter what, he can just outscore me pretty often from here on out, so I preferred to go all in on drawing the blank myself. Maybe this is slightly misguided, because he could also immediately bingo after FERIAE while not having the blank, and those bingoes often obstruct enough to beat me even when I do draw the blank. Feels a bit doomed either way in this case. I feel like this gives me the better shot though, if I was up another 10 points I might feel more comfortable with AREAE.
>Joey_Mallick: AILNORS 13C ROA...N. +33 352
>Jackson: ADDEISW 11B SIDE +25 378
#note always a fun position to look into the bingo+? pools - he is thus guaranteed to have POLITIES/PISOLITE on the D column. I focused on drawing the blank, and SIDE does win when I draw the blank, but I have a way to double my win chances - WADD(I)E blocks POpLITEI, which is his only bingo when I draw the S, and it scores enough to win with the S draw. Big oversight, since I did see POPLITEI, so i should have considered the S draw in addition to the ? draw - while I wasn't 100% sure that POPLITEI would be his only bingo, it isn't hard to permute that it also wins with the blank, and so it is free value from the S draw that I squandered.
>Joey_Mallick: EILOPST 2A .PISTLE +22 374
#note Sure could've used that blank. Surprised this was my best scoring play, and it blocked his best out play.
>Jackson: ?ADW 1F AWeD +28 406
#note wild to draw the blank
