>Joel_Horn: AAAAAA - +0 0
#note Bob vs Joe. Going in at 8-4 with 3 games left. Holding strong at second place of 28, and if I win this game I will have a strong shot at top 1 and be a lock to place top 5 for some cash. Ranks 2-10 all neck and neck but I have a strong spread advantage. Ive played Joel just once before, he is a strong experienced player.

Joel starts by swapping 3. Usually that means his remaining 4 are good Bingo tiles. His tiles are unknown to me
>Robert_DeSimone: AAEEORU - +0 0
#note Nice to see Joel swap so I didnt feel bad about swapping back. Not worth playing anything small here because I won't score much and I will be left with garbage. It will also give him more floating tiles to play through. I swap all but ER
>Joel_Horn: AEINNRT 8F ENTRAIN +66 66
#note Yup, there it is! Straightforward play for him. It's okay, plenty of game left to play
>Robert_DeSimone: AAEENRR 7E ARE +9 9
#note Solid tiles but too many duplicates, definitely want to play off ARE. EARN is very good, especially with a T and I to play through. I didnt want to block the T, but playing ERA elsewhere would score less and give Joel better counterplays.
>Joel_Horn: ITZ 6C TIZ +23 89
#note Joel plays Tiz
>Robert_DeSimone: ABDEENR L5 BAN.ERED +72 81
#note Kicked myself right away for blocking the T but he opened another one. Decided to go with Bannered instead. Not much of a difference between the 2
>Joel_Horn: BCHIR C3 BRI.CH +32 121
#note This is actually not a word, whoops! I did seem puzzled but didnt want to risk a turn. It scored well too and I had good rack to fight back
>Robert_DeSimone: AAEFIST K11 FA +23 104
#note Thought for a bit here. I definitely wanted to play of FA, AEIST is so strong, especially with Rs to play through and I will Bingo next turn so often. I could have played FAH on A8 for slightly more, but my spot leaves the board open for me to both start and end 7 letter words with my S
>Joel_Horn: IQ M4 QI +15 136
#note Happy to see this as he is struggling through bad racks it seems. I am closing in on the lead with really good tiles
>Robert_DeSimone: AEFIOST K5 OF +25 129
#note Drew another F which sucks, but sticking with same strategy. Dropped OF which scored a bunch and kept my same strong leave
>Joel_Horn: APW 4A WA.P +26 162
#note Looks like hes struggling through bad letters while I am closing in on a bingo
>Robert_DeSimone: AEILSTU I7 U.ALITES +61 190
#note Didnt like seeing the U but the floating R did in fact pay off. Uralites the easy call here to take my first lead
>Joel_Horn: OP 8A PO. +24 186
#note Joel took a bit of time here and seemed to be frustrated as if he was close to a Bingo
>Robert_DeSimone: AADEGLN A1 GNA.ED +33 223
#note Debated just GNAW but ill take the 9 extra points. Lot of blanks and S's left so good to give myself more chances at drawing them.
>Joel_Horn: IK 10H I.K +17 203
#note Joel took a while here again, and playing off 2 tiles at a time. Def seems close to a bingo
>Robert_DeSimone: AEILLOT 4J LO +8 231
#note Tough turn here. Could have scored more but wanted to leave myself a change to build another Bingo. Any play near the Q would have set Joel up for the triple word when he seemed to have good tiles. There was also only 1 more A and 2 more Is in the bag, so I really didnt want to use them. I played off just LO hoping ALTIE would hit somewhere, especially with an S out there
>Joel_Horn: AG H14 AG +11 214
#note More frustration showing for Joel. This is great to see for me
>Robert_DeSimone: AEEHILT J14 HE +27 258
#note HE scored well and kept my same leave. I missed LAITH for 49 though whoops
>Joel_Horn: MU 3C .UM +11 225
#note Another 2 tile dump and annoyance from Joel
>Robert_DeSimone: AEILNST A8 .LAINEST +83 341
#note Amazing draw here. Ton od Bingo options. GENITALS or STEALING give back possible 50 points to an X so PLAINEST seemed safest
>Joel_Horn: ?DILSTT N2 SLITTeD +85 310
#note Finally got his Bingo, probably had S and/or blank for a while
>Robert_DeSimone: DEINOOU 2G IDONEOU. +61 402
#note Starting to become a game again, and I started drawing EIOU and getting nervous. Rack looks horrible but I saw IDONEOUS immediately and played it. A blank left but No more I or S so its looking pretty good from here
>Joel_Horn: ?JOORVY O8 OVeRJOY +140 450
#note Or not! Wow, OVERJOY for 140 to jump back in the lead. We both pulled 7 tiles after our bingos and this emptied the bag. There is One S left
>Robert_DeSimone: CEGORSU 15L COGS +90 492
#note Got the S! Crazy turn of events, 4 straight Bingos then I am able to drop COGS for 90. Wasnt 100% OVERJOYS was good but had to go for it or I am probably dead. Joel super frustrated to find out he didnt pull it
>Joel_Horn: EEMVWXY 1G MEW +42 492
#note What a rough draw for Joel. Gonna get stuck with giving me a ton of points back to add insult to injury. MEW his best bet
>Robert_DeSimone: ERU 14A .URE +8 500
#note Sure to go out to close the game. +34 more back from his tiles. Absolutely crazy game. 4 straight bingos, 7 total.

533-491 Final score. Don't think I ever had a game over 1,000 combined. 491 for Joel was the High Loss of the day out of 210 games total.

This put me at 9-4 and in very strong position for a top 2 Finish
