#note Interesting turn. I have BAWTY, BAWDY, CITY, and BAIT. I regretted not playing CITY. They all sim almost even, along with TORRIDITY. I liked BAIT of course to really restrict the top left, DIY is decent for scoring even if a bit risky as a leave. However, I liked CITY more after for a few reasons, firstly scoring a few extra, ABDI is a less risky leave because of the better balance and the A, and it blocks a somewhat decent scoring spot with VOMITOS, and lastly it puts the Y at 15A, and so CITY blocks other plays there like CHAP that would put a better tile at 15A, which I would be inclined to sacrifice to block. BAIT lets the board be constricted while having some escape routes for the board, and so it runs the risk of my lead being chipped away until a bingo can do me in. I much prefer CITY here, event hough by the books it might not be a mistake.

#note I did not see YAIRDS again. Kinda tempting to run with the defense with DAIRY, but even then the right side is totally getitng opened. With an S in hand it's more comfotable playing DAIRY, but YAIRDS could still be better

#note Now I was a bit wary of fishing the G, even though it hits decently immediately, bceuase if he bingoes immediately I often have nowhere to bingo. I think this was too scared a mentality, because he doesn't bingo all that often with this pool. IGG was to block the M column mostly and keep decent tiles for the E and O heavy pool. Maybe (D)AG is a better play to keep the outrunning train moving a bit more. Maybe SIGN even... Even AGING goes for it immediatley in another way - as long as he doesn't kill me immediately I should be fine to win.

#note sets up my S, leaves two places to score with the S. The problem with ANE is JO, which is exactly what happened - I was not aware of that threat. ARE might be a bit better for that reason - I want to force him to spend his blank if he wants to score there. The timing of all this plan is not great - while it is nice to play fewer tiles to avoid the Q, his scoring plays spending the blank put him up and leave a good amount of tiles for him, not for me. (V)OE could be best here, going for a bingo, keeping the case A myself, keeping better timing. I think I like that

#note figure I need the blank to win here, so did not mind emptying the bag and hoping I can Q stick him or win in the endgame. EO felt like it was going to pay dividends to keep, the extra vowels are very helpful in tight board endgames like this. Watched this one slip away from IGG to ANE, through making inaccurate plays, and even back to BAIT and potentially DAIRY.
