>Morris_Greenberg: DGIOPUV 8G GUV +14 14
>Jared_Cappel: AEKMOOT 9E TOOM +15 15
#note Thought maybe I'd get a nice K play either at 10F or 8D next turn but Quackle says OKA at 7E or OM at 9G are slightly better. OKA has a nice leave so in hindsight I like that.
>Morris_Greenberg: DDHINOP 10F HOP +40 54
>Jared_Cappel: AAEEIKT 8C KEA +10 25
#note Briefly considered AKEE to set up the front R hook but Morris is too good for such antics. My play simming second best after (HOP)AK which I missed.
>Morris_Greenberg: DDDIINO 11C DIDO +18 72
>Jared_Cappel: AEILOST J7 ISOLATE +67 92
#note Lucky draw.
>Morris_Greenberg: BCDGILN 13I B.ING +22 94
#note Given that most of the D's are gone, I liked saving it for the (ISOLATE)D hook at an opportune time, while shedding some of my junk. Quackle slightly prefers C(A)BLING or C(A)B, which still preserve the D but bingo more often.
>Jared_Cappel: AACEORV 14G OVA +10 102
#note Clever play by Jared. JC: Thanks. I was also considering CAVER*/ISOLATER. Morris and I both liked CAVER. Whoops. I thought after BEING, Morris' rack might not be as strong as mine and so I thought after OVA and leaving -RACE, I was in a better position to RACE to the bingo first. Quackle likes CAVERN/CRAVEN at L8 or AIRVAC at D10 and then my idea.
>Morris_Greenberg: ACDELLT 13B CALLED +27 121
#note I think I rushed this, CLAD 12A scores 2 more and is a better leave.
>Jared_Cappel: ACELRRS 15A CARRELS +84 186
>Morris_Greenberg: MNNSTUY L11 TU.NY +24 145
>Jared_Cappel: EEIIIUY -EEIIIY +0 186
#note rack of EEIIIUY and I kept one E.
>Morris_Greenberg: EEMNRST H7 M... +10 155
#note I considered ME 7D too, as I knew Jared exchanged mostly vowels and since the bag doesn't get mixed perfectly after an exchange, vowels are more likely to be drawn by me than their random proportion would suggest. However, I just thought in the cases where I don't get the vowel, ME is so much worse than M(UMP). Quackle agrees (though won't assess the non-randomness of the bag correctly).
>Jared_Cappel: EFIOPWX K9 FOP +33 219
#note PYXIE at 15K for 51! Damn. Quackle likes a few other plays over FOP like YOWE at 15K or FIX at 10B.
>Morris_Greenberg: EEENRST N7 ENTREES +68 223
#note Everything brings some risk here. I think I have to play at K1 though because that just make the game much more flexible, whereas this brings the game to a virtual tie with Jared able to pounce on the big spot first for tempo while the bottom of the board is completely exhausted.
>Jared_Cappel: EIJNRWX 8L JI.X +78 297
#note Lucky.
>Morris_Greenberg: EHINTUY 10B YEH +25 248
#note Oof, completely missed T(Y)IYN.
>Jared_Cappel: BEGR 15K G.BER +33 330
#note I held this, I convinced myself GYVER* is the phony I was thinking of. Both are phony. JC: I was so convinced all versions were valid.
>Morris_Greenberg: AFIINTU K3 UNFIT +18 266
>Jared_Cappel: ANNRUWW 4K .AW +12 342
#note L3 NU is a bit of an improvement. My play looks 2nd best.
>Morris_Greenberg: AADEIIS 3G ADIE. +8 274
>Jared_Cappel: ?ENNRUW H1 WU. +21 363
#note Quackle wants me to play UNDER at H1 or WREN at 4D.
>Morris_Greenberg: AAEIIOS C6 OA. +8 282
#note I noticed this hits with a lot of the non-blank draws too, (W)ISTERIA or AIRIEST in multiplate spots with RT, SENARII with RN, ISATINE with NT, so it felt right. Quackle likes O(W)IE here to go for blank wins.
>Jared_Cappel: ??ENNRZ 6B Z.NER +36 399
#note I checked my tracking and did the math a couple times and saw that after the ZONER/WISTERIA sequence I would win by 7, so I emptied the bag and didn't give Morris a chance to come up with something creative. Spread doesn't matter.
>Morris_Greenberg: AEIIRST 1H .ISTERIA +86 368
>Morris_Greenberg: (??INQ) +24 392
