>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEERUU -AEEUU +0 0
#note Yuck. Those Us have been finding their way on my rack in very interesting patterns this entire tournament. I don't really have a choice here but to exchange. Looks fine.
>Jay_Levin: AGIOTU 8C AGOUTI +18 18
#note I'm relieved he stopped there. Otherwise, that start would have been much more ominous.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEEIRRS I2 DERRIES +68 68
#note That 2nd draw was just as amazing as the 1st draw was godawful.
>Jay_Levin: IX 9C XI +37 55
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIKMNOR H1 KINE +35 103
#note No home for MONIKER on this board, but it should be KINO in the same spot. #findingsmall
>Jay_Levin: FO 7B OF +26 81
>Samuel_Kaplan: MMORTUZ A4 TUMOR +30 133
#note I did not know 4D MOMZ(ER) in this position. I guess making a slight mistake last turn actually paid off because I can't address the aggressive opening Jay made very effectively without an O. Not to mention, he wouldn't make a move like that without keeping another O himself very often. His last play explains why I purposely passed up B4 MOZ(O) and D8 (GI)ZMO. TUMOR has the added benefit of setting up my other M in case things go awry.
>Jay_Levin: EILNOST F7 O.TLINES +62 143
#note So ONLIEST would have played if I did MOZO and both ONLIEST and ONLIEST and ENTOILS play if I did GIZMO. It would have been a worse net loss over those sequences. Also, 10D ENTOILS plays for 3 more.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EFMOUVZ 13C FUZ. +32 165
#note Wasn't willing to do FUZ(E)E in this spot to potentially benefit Jay more than myself.
>Jay_Levin: BGR D12 B.RG +18 161
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEIMNOV E11 MA.E +46 211
#note Looks like the clear best play. Glad I saw this one as nothing else scores even close to this. #visionsolid
>Jay_Levin: CLO 15A CLO. +21 182
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEINOVY G1 OVA +24 235
#note Wasn't a fan of 10E A(L)VINE at this score. Yes, I generally prefer open boards against Jay, but that just makes an opening while I'm ahead for no reason. And if I'm not going to do OVA, I would do ALVINE over ALEVIN because ALVINES* isn't good.
>Jay_Levin: EVW 6H W.VE +18 200
>Samuel_Kaplan: EHILNNY 5K HINNY +32 267
#note This time, 6 points seemed like too many to sacrifice to do K5 HENL(E)Y just because it will be easy to open up Column M bingoes in the future either way.
>Jay_Levin: AET G13 ETA +26 226
#note Misscored as 27
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?CELNPQ L4 Q. +22 289
>Jay_Levin: EE O4 E.E +7 233
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?CELNOP N2 CLO. +14 303
#note Sucks that O2 POL(Y)ENiC got blocked as well as the flashier but lower scoring N1 PENO(N)CeL. The P isn't that great on this board, therefore B2 CLOP would have been fine. #strategymedium
>Jay_Levin: AB F2 AB +22 255
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EENPTY 6A .Y +28 331
#note Oof, 15G (A)NTEtYPE is hard to spot. That was missed and would have been nice.
>Jay_Levin: DIL O4 ...LID +30 285
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EEINPT 15G .PErIENT +80 411
#note There we go.
>Jay_Levin: ?DEORTU 10I DETOURs +71 356
#note 14I REaDOUT would have made 6 parallels!
>Samuel_Kaplan: AADHJRW 14L WAAH +31 442
#note I could have scored the same and kept a vowel with 7K HAJ. Not exactly the best way to try outrunning without giving Jay a floater to bingo through. But at least I wasn't going to be J-stuck.
>Jay_Levin: AAGIPSS 13K GAPS +33 389
#note I did not know that APERIENT took an S! O12 AA(H)S would have put me in a little bit of a predicament because I would not have been able to challenge if I can get rid of the J.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DJNR 7E J. +18 460
#note M9 JUN is 4 more spread points. #endgamesmall
>Jay_Levin: AIS H11 AIS +22 411
#note Better overall than last game. I was less nervous which did play a critical role in not being 1-2 instead of 2-1. Final score was recorded as 460-420. 2-1 +48.
>Jay_Levin: (DNR) +8 419
