>Jonathan_Lindh: ADFOPST 8G FOP +16 16
>Jackson_Smylie: EJNTWXY 7F JET +19 19
#note weird turn but this sims best, ahead of EX for 25
>Jonathan_Lindh: AADOSTV 9G TOAD +22 38
#note I loved the defense of this play. Now my S is extra valuable.
>Jackson_Smylie: GIINWXY K5 WINGY +33 52
#note Blah, Jackson had the perfect counter (other than a bingo).
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEEGMSV J4 VEGA +26 64
>Jackson_Smylie: AAINTUX 8K .AUNT +21 73
#note keep setting up the X till you hit it
>Jonathan_Lindh: DEEMORS O3 MODES.ER +62 126
#note Again, I find the 2nd best play. Throughout this game, I was repeatedly miscounting my scores because I was tired. Jackson could have easily evoked the three misscored turns rules and gotten an extra minute and I would have had no problem with that. I thought the 7 (EMERODS) was 70 or so. It would have been 77. I don't even think I saw EMERODS in game even though I was sure there was a 7 on this rack.
>Jackson_Smylie: AEIKMTX 7M XI. +37 110
#note IMMODESTER is a word!
>Jonathan_Lindh: CEILRTU 3L CUL. +16 142
>Jackson_Smylie: AEKMRTU L1 MU.K +30 140
>Jonathan_Lindh: EGIORRT 1L .ORT +18 160
#note After this turn, I thought I had missed GORMET*. Yes you read that right. I was convinced GORMET* was a word at the time. It's GOURMET. Thank goodness I avoided a silly moment. MORT is fine.
>Jackson_Smylie: AEEIRST 10B AERIEST +72 212
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEGHIRY D8 HE.RY +30 190
>Jackson_Smylie: ABDENQT N6 B..NED +33 245
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEGIILS 11K GIE. +12 202
#note I really hated making this play, but this seemed like the best there was. C6 GIE and LIE just kill the board, and 8A SIGH is easy to block.
>Jackson_Smylie: AIIOQTU 12H QUOIT +55 300
#note When Jackson made this play, I wrote the F word in big capital letters on my scoresheet. I'm looking at it right now!
>Jonathan_Lindh: ABCEILS 8A BAC. +33 235
#note I hated what this did to the board, but BACH scores too much to pass up.
>Jackson_Smylie: AHINNRR C6 NI.H. +24 324
#note JS: Didnt love setting up the 14 row with HIN or RIN right now, I would like him to be forced to do it so that I can have a potential response immediately.
JL: I did not write down the NICHE when Jackson made this play, I wrote down the word F*CK. Yeah that described what I was feeling.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EILOOSZ D3 OOZE +28 263
#note Quackle likes being bold and swinging for the fences with I11 OUZO for 23. The problem is if Jackson has and F or a W, OUZO is getting blocked for a decent score. OOZE is harder for a human player to fully block. Everything is under 6% to win anyways. I'm fine with OOZE.
>Jackson_Smylie: AFLNRRW E4 RAW +42 366
#note Quite sure OUZO would have been blocked. RAW stung, but the OOZE front hooks are still open.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?DEILPS 13G DIP +29 292
#note I insta-played DIP, but it turns out there is one massive bingo worth playing. 13F ALIPEDS for 91 with 5 overlaps. That's brutal to find during the last game of the day. The blank was in the bag, too. I would still be down 11 on a relatively closed board, but ALIPEDS gives me a decent shot. 13E SPLINED for 79 is the other bingo, and that's meh, DIP is probably a little better than that one in practice.
>Jackson_Smylie: AAFLNOR B4 ANA +14 380
#note idk why I thought FLORA was invalid, only FLORAE. FLORA is the perfect play here, no question. After that, I wanted to set up a scoring play to counter big bingoes on the 14 row. The problem with ANA is if he blocks for small immediatley, sometimes I am left with having to try and block all his bingoes or outscore them in another way, which can be tricky. Didnt love this option, but everything besides FLORA can run into a few snags
JL: A challenging position here. It was pretty obvious Jackson was setting up his F. I was under 2 minutes here and strongly thought about blocking the F setup, and then ran out of time and decided to bingo. There's one play none of us saw in the postgame, and that's B2 FLORA for 29. That play seems to outrun in every case, and Quackle has it as a 100% win.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EILLSV 14B VIeLLES +87 379
#note Once again, I was pretty sure Jackson had the F, but I was hoping he would not draw into a 4-5 letter play to the triple. Looking at the unseen pool again, this wasn't a good idea. I Think I have to block the A column and hope to bingo out. I saw A4 LI for 8 but dismissed it because I didn't think ELSV? bingoed enough. I think LI is my best shot but if anybody has any other ideas, I would definitely like to hear them. VIELLES actually does occasionally win (3-4% according to Quackle).
>Jackson_Smylie: EFILNOR A1 ROLF +42 422
#note One of the 4 top plays.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AS F3 aAS +17 396
#note All of the best outs are 17.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (EIN) +6 402
#note If I played LI and pulled A? AND find my bingos in time, I win. Jackson said he would have played I14 ON/UPO trying to block obvious bingos. With A?, I have VERBALS/BOOZE up top to go out along with stuff hooking QI so I win on the spot if I find a two blank bingo in under 2 minutes. Very cool pre-endgame position.
