>PeterSchwartzman: ?DEIILO 8B EIDOLIc +68 68
#note 2024 Word Cup. Round 19. Thanks to Peter for providing his Quackle file.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DDIIRTW F6 WI.D +16 16
#note Seems fine.
>PeterSchwartzman: AAEEHTY 7A YAH +24 92
#note Quackle likes D4 HAYED for 24 by a tiny but I like the defense of Peter's move. It also blocked DEXTRINS.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DINRSTX 7E N.X +37 53
#note NIX does sim best over TIX!
>PeterSchwartzman: AEENRRT H6 RE.ANTER +69 161
#note RECANTER and RECREANT are the bingos.
>Jonathan_Lindh: DIPRSTU 12C PURDI.ST +72 125
#note 12B DISPUTER/STUPIDER for 72 were the plays here. Peter still would have bingoed with OVERSALT/OVERSALE after 14F DISRUPT for 74.
>PeterSchwartzman: AELORSV J5 OVERSAL. +71 232
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAALNRS K2 ALAN +12 137
#note ALAN was too aggressive too soon. 6A ANA for 21 is fine. I occassionally go too aggressive too quickly.
>PeterSchwartzman: CIKMNOY L4 YOCK +39 271
#note 3H CYMLIN for 34 and L4 MONIC for 35 are two other great options. YOCK is great as well.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AIIRSTU D8 .UI +4 141
#note Too many T's in the pool for me to do G12 DUI for 6 although if I held the case T, I would instantly play that.
>PeterSchwartzman: AFIMNU 2J F.NUM +36 307
#note Held this play but wisely accepted.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AIRSSTW 6B WAT +34 175
#note Best play. I debated hard between WAT and WAS and thought WAT didn't telegraph the fact I had 2 S's and gave me a better chance for big bingos hooking FANUMS.
>PeterSchwartzman: ABEHINO 1G BANI +23 330
#note Quackle likes 13B BOHEA for 38 to score more and obstruct the RECANTER hook. BANI worked out well for Peter though.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EIOPRSS 14D PROSSIE +71 246
#note I still think my PROSSIE is better than the column 2 or column 14 bingos hooking BANI and RECANTERS because my PROSSIE keeps the board more open and sets up a huge row 15 bingo line. However, my PROSSIE is not better than O1 ESPOIRS for 91 which i have a tough time seeing. That's the play. Everything is under 5% to win.
>PeterSchwartzman: EHOOTVZ 15A HOVE +38 368
#note Another great move by Peter, keeping the Z for scoring. After ESPOIRS, Peter still has 2D OOZE for 37 so I'm probably sunk no matter what, but the game would have been a little closer.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?CEEGIU 13A CUE +18 264
#note No bingos play. CUE sims best.
>PeterSchwartzman: ABDOTTZ 2F ZOA +38 406
#note ZOA is one of the best plays. Quackle prefers 2D ADBOT for 20 by a tiny, tiny margin, blocking the bingo line and setting up the Z for a potential massive score. Plays like JEEZ/GEEZ/RITZ are very realistic possibilities. That's pure Nigel there. I would need the F or the M to hit the spot hard in any kind of way.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AEGGIM 3E GAG +26 290
#note Ugh. No bingos play again. GAG seems fine. Maybe 3M MIG for 24?
>PeterSchwartzman: BDEJLTT D4 JE. +20 426
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EIIMRT M7 InTERIM +77 367
#note I considered passing up bingoing, then I realized I need to somehow bingo twice to have a chance, and even if I don't bingo again, I need to conserve spread. INTERIM is fine.
>PeterSchwartzman: BDEGLTT L12 BELT +26 452
#note Quackle likes L10 BE for 10 which I don't get.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEFNOOQ 10C Q. +11 378
#note Playing N8 OOF for 30 and sticking myself with the Q is apprently 3 points better than QI.
>PeterSchwartzman: DGT 10L T.D +8 460
#note Best, blocking my big F plays.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEFNOO N12 OOF +22 400
#note Best.
>PeterSchwartzman: G F2 ..G +13 473
#note Best.
>PeterSchwartzman: (EEN) +6 479
#note Both of us played well.
