#player2 James James
>Michael_Fagen: ABENOTU 8H OUT +6 6
>James: EINNQRT I7 Q.INT +25 25
#note Lots of different options to consider when playing this Q. Looking back on it now, I do think that Q9I7 Q(U)IN might be slightly better that Q(U)INT. I'd like to hold the T in case Michael doesn't have one (which he probably does if he's playing OUT).
>Michael_Fagen: ?AEENST 12C cETANES +79 85
>James: ABEEENR 11D BENE +24 49
>Michael_Fagen: ADI J5 ADI. +20 105
>James: ABENORU K3 UNBE +23 72
#note The sim slightly prefers 10D OBA for 1 less, which I didn't really consider. I liked the space and lanes that UNBE created, but I failed to notice how easily everything could be shut down. One play with (OUT)A kills the sevens lanes on the right side and the OUT front hooks. Also, K1 UNROBE looks strong, but I don't think I'm that desperate yet.
>Michael_Fagen: AGIIT K8 ATIGI +16 121
>James: AIILORT 10C IOTA +19 91
#note No B's to worry about
>Michael_Fagen: OZ C12 .OZ +22 143
>James: AIILOOR 4K .AOI +8 99
#note I really would like to bingo, but plays through the Z like I(Z)AR or (Z)ORI or are too strong to ignore, especially if I suspect Michael is holding the Y for (COZ)Y. If I'm playing through the N, I should at least do (N)ORIA and threaten some more stuff.
>Michael_Fagen: RWY 15A WRY +42 185
>James: CFIKLOR N2 FL.CK +48 147
>Michael_Fagen: DDI L10 DID +22 207
>James: AGIIORV 14B A.O +28 175
#note I think this is right, trying to pull something better to go at O6? There aren't many tiles that go there left in the pool.
>Michael_Fagen: EEEGNRS 6M E.E +7 214
>James: GHHIIRV 9A VIG +14 189
#note Everything sucks here. I shouldn't be so desperate to open and should just play I3 VIG instead. Even though it's going to be really hard to start any momentum on this board, VIG at 9A gives back way too much.
>Michael_Fagen: EEEGNR A7 RE.ENGE +39 253
>James: HHIMMRU L1 UMM. +13 202
#note We've entered desperation territory, but the computer still likes 7L UH to score and bide my time. I think UMM(A) was a pretty weak opening, and options like J1 HMM or 5F MIHR(AB) look like what I want to do to make MIchael a little uncomfy here.
>Michael_Fagen: Y N2 .....Y +18 271
#note Thought about challenging this for a brief moment because it's only FICKLIER and not FLICKIER*, but I couldn't muster the courage or energy.
>James: AFHHIPR 1H PRAH. +30 232
#note Obviously, I should've challenged when I'm down by 70 since it would've given me (E)PHAH, but oh well. If I didn't have PRAH(U) as a consolation prize, maybe I would've challenged?
>Michael_Fagen: ?CEEORS 2B nECROSE +74 345
>James: FHILLSU H12 .LHI +21 253
#note Blech
>Michael_Fagen: OVX 3A VOX +45 390
>James: AFLLRSU H1 ..LF +13 266
#note Probably just give up and play O6 (E)ARFULS at this point
>Michael_Fagen: JOST 5E JOTS +32 422
>James: ALPRSUW 14G W.UP +18 284
#note Playing the S would've been 5 move points in the endgame :(
>Michael_Fagen: ADNR O6 .ARN +17 439
>James: ALRS F4 S.LAR +7 291
>James: (D) +4 295
