>Jackson: ?CDFNTU -- -98 19
#note I was tempted by the huge upside here, especially cause I figured this always gets challenged. But really while I was not sure if DEFUNCTS* was a word, no way I was cose to certain enough to even justify taking this risk on big upside - FUNDED or GIF or GIFT are fairly solid here, and knowing my rack if this comes off gives Josh an extra edge, so losing the challenge is worse than usual
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: AEEMNST G9 MEANEST +70 114
#note Josh missed CONFUTED here, MEANEST/SKIT doesnt give that back

#note Type a note here!TWINED was tempting, but the X isnt actually so good here and the W is not bad with the F10 spot and WOW plays
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: IIINRVY K4 VIN +28 170
>Jackson: BLNPRUW 11E BR.WL +20 160
#note NN vs RRRRR in the pool isnt enough of a differece to make BRAWL worth it, especially cause its important to put the N out there to le me play UP words. I noticed that over the board but got too focused on the tile pool adjustment, BLAWN is def best here

#note I might have played ANA/WAD here.
>Jackson: AEHMNOS 12L HM +28 209
#note Maybe HAEM or OH here. I figured RAIA wasnt getting played too often without an S, but I was wrong - if I think he doesnt always have an S, MHO is killer here, that might have been a missed opportunity. With an S on his rack, OH makes some sense, I am probably favoured anyways to hit a bingo, and the N column I am leaving is not so dangerous cause I can hit back on the O column after. I like OH. HAEM is fine as well for a bit less defense but scoring better.HM is a grind it out kind of plan

>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: GINNSST L7 SIGN +21 241
#note maybe UNS 14a for 2 fewer? Surely hits more in the end cause I do open occasionally... but its true that NST could hit the F column better
>Jackson: AEEINSZ F5 AZINE +39 263
#note I figured SIGN rarely keeps an A, but I dont want to let him draw one and hit AZINE for cheap, especially cause it is a decent bingo lane.

#note Missed YERBA here, which looks great.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?CFLOSV E1 COF. +9 292
#note he considered OF/OMA here cause YOD never keeps a T. COFT really forces my hand. I wonder about something like OAF here. COFT can get killed by the occasional Q play like CAIQUE.
>Jackson: AAEQRST G2 QATS +16 318
#note Really complex turn here. QATS I am hoping he tries to outscore with an H1 play and doesnt quite get it. The problem with QATS is fishing plays like the one he did, and often I can't do anything about it. I could also just do QAT, accept he bingoes through the C sometimes, hope he doesn't. COFT probably keeps consonants, it was hard to imagine COFT not keeping S?. It might have to be S? and 2 consonants to make any sense. This makes a play like CARATES look better, just go all in on him not bingoing and try to squeak out the win, draw the H or something. Its possible COFT keeps LERS or something of the sort and he's just going for it, so emptying th ebag could deprive him of the blank, but its a bit hard to imagine. In a bad position no matter what, but with S? on his rack QATS can lose in so many ways.
>Josh_Sokol-Rubenstein: ?EHLSUV 9L .UV +8 300
#note this actually seems to win with every possible draw, great play.
>Jackson: AEEEIRR N9 .EE +8 326
#note no way to block everything, I figured it was slightly more likely he would phony with a GUVS bingo than it was he would miss sheltie/sheitel.
