>Samuel_Kaplan: ?ABNNSU 8G NUB +10 10
#note I looked for a while and thankfully did not miss any bingoes here. It's hard to tell whether Robert would have challenged MANBUNS* which looks plausible. This over UNBAN as I set up two S hooks as opposed to one with UNBAN or BUN (although I also set up my A with BUN, it takes too many other hooks).
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: AEELORU - +0 0
#note Not actual rack. Robert exchanged 5 tiles here.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?AAENRS J6 ARSENAl +66 76
#note Oof, missed H8 (U)NAwARES for 8 more. I was correct to pass up J8 SANtERA because of bingoes with SANTERAS and I also didn't care for ARSENAL at 9D or 7D. My play sims well ahead of the 9D and 7D placements, but after an exchange 5, (U)NAwARES would have been fine to do if I had seen that. #findingmedium
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: BHU K4 HUB +20 20
#note This same word plays at K9 for 31.
>Samuel_Kaplan: IIKNORT L1 KINO +36 112
#note I liked this over KORI in the same spot with the 2 open Ns in NUB and ARSENAL.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: EPZ J2 ZEP +42 62
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEIIORT 1L .ORI +24 136
#note The simpler KITE is a little better equity. #findingsmall
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: OOX K10 OXO +41 103
#note Misscored as 39.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEEIMTU G6 MI.UETED +65 201
#note Yep. Good find.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: DEHINRT 12A REHINT.D +80 183
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: DEHINRT -- -80 103
#note Since EHINRST is only HINTERS and not REHINTS*, that's why I challenged. It's high enough probability that I wasn't letting that stay.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DEGILTW H12 WELD +48 249
#note He could have done H12 HERD, but now I'm just gonna keep my foot on the gas pedal.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: DEHINRT F10 HID +37 140
#note Looks like a great play here- ENRT bingoes a fair amount on Column F as well as INTER- bingoes on Column O.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EFGIIT L12 GIF +20 269
#note I did not know 15H (D)IGEsTIF. That looks like a hard one to spot. I'll forgive myself here.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: AERRTY H1 ARTERY +37 177
>Samuel_Kaplan: ?EGILTU M7 GLUIEsT +77 346
#note It was about 2 minutes later during the game that I realized I missed the E5 placement for the same word. I would eventually hit that spot. But still, this is #visionbad.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: AEFLNRS 15A SNARFLE. +89 266
#note I feel better that I wasn't stopping this from coming down though.
>Samuel_Kaplan: CDINOSV 8L C.OD +30 376
#note I wanted a floating I for VIDICONS. Wasn't meant to be. This is best.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: AJ 2F JA. +26 292
>Samuel_Kaplan: EINRSTV E5 INVERTS +102 478
#note I hit the spot I missed 2 turns ago. So if I played GLUIEST at E5, INVERTS now would not have scored nearly as much at M6 as it did at E5. I lucked out and did not get punished for my mistake.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: ACLNSTV - +0 292
#note Not actual rack. Robert exchanged 2 tiles here.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AACNOTW B10 WANTO. +34 512
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: AEGIMPS C5 MAGPIES +72 364
#note No matter what I did, I wasn't going to stop him from bingoing because he had O6 ME(D)IGAPS as well as the 7s. But he did miss A4 MISPAGE for 100.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AACEILV A8 CLAVE +48 560
#note Looks great. I misscored this as 45. Even if he played A4 MISPAGE, I simply play 5D AI and he's Q-stuck either way.
>Robert_Desimone_Jr: EOOQTY 15L TOYO +33 397
#note This is the best he can do.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AI E2 AI +13 573
#note Yes, it would have been nice to break 600. But going out on this turn is better for spread purposes- if I do 2E A(JAR) for 11, then he does either 8A (C)E(P) or 10E (THE)E for 7 then my best out is 3G I(T) for 6 for a net gain of 10 points before the 20 that I will get for his Q. This is 13, so I made the right call by going out in 1 instead of 2. Mostly a good game, very sloppy by not spotting the E5 placement for GLUIEST, which actually worked out for the better. Final score was recorded as 592-395. 2-1 +185.
