#note Hard position to sim given the exchanges and inference-heavy short plays. This play seemed reasonable at the time but I see now that the risk is, if he bingos under it, it can be difficult for me to bingo back since it creates a closed board.

#note I debated playing VLEI D4 18 to set up the Q, but he probably bingos there too often or I just don't hit a big play, so I thought better of it.

>David_Weisberg: AEEELTV 12F ELEVATE +75 195
#note Sims only a tiny bit ahead of L3 ELEVATED 76, but with the lead I was taking it made little sense to leave things more open.

#note Sims about 10 points ahead of the L2 placement for 83. Apparently L2 wins about 0.3% more often, but both show as winning over 97%, so I'll go with the equity. Besides, if I beat him by a mere 450, I'd overtake him in spread and win the tourney!

#note I though of PEIN in this spot but wasn't 100% on it. I had the right idea, as PEIN does sim best, at about 4 points ahead of 12A LIMP. I wanted to block big Z plays but, especially with this pool, INRT is a worse leave than ELRT. 8K ELINT, which would block some 60ish point X plays, sims about 1 point behind LIMP. My play sims 6 points behind PEIN.

>David_Weisberg: ?AINRRT 13J RAN +22 337
#note I passed up the available bingos of M1 TERRAIN or RETRAIN 70 since they open the 3x3, and also B3 TRAINER 64 since it scores so little and allows the STRAINER hook for potentially big S bingos or plays with SX or SZ, like SILEX or STANZA. Maybe this concern was exaggerated, but with my lead and his incentive to keep the board open, I felt I could afford to be patient. Other non-bingo plays like 13J RANT 27 open a new line, but it didn't seem necessarily to create more space given I already had the B column.
