>Christian_Oktavius: AEFLNOR 8H OF +10 10
#note It is always unpleasnt to get this type of tile, especially if you start first
This type of tile made you think hard whether this contain a bingo or not, then after you are sure there is no bingo, you still have to think hard whether to play long, getting 20-30 points and take random tile, or maximizing your bingo chance hoping to draw some possible combination and sacrifice a lot of point in this move.,, and this can turn to be very confusing to decide which one is better, a very time consuming with little to none benefit
Unlike previous game, I decided to keep a ton of flexible tile, maximizing bingo chance for next move
>Alexander_Gozali: AVX 9F VAX +23 23
#note Fortunately for me, Alex got 3 A and some unappealing tile other than X to start the game...
>Christian_Oktavius: ABEHLNR 7G BHEL +32 42
#note I want 2 flexible tiles to bingo, not 2 low synergy medium tile.....
>Alexander_Gozali: ACO 6E OCA +15 38
#note Seems like both of us got poor combination to start the game
>Christian_Oktavius: AGNNRSV 5B VANG +22 64
#note Another poor rack, well, at least in this situation, what to do is obvious so it is not time consuming and taking hard decision
>Alexander_Gozali: ADOT 4C DOAT +21 59
>Christian_Oktavius: EINRSUY F8 I.Y +17 81
#note I would play YU no matter how low it score, or forget about bingo and choose over 30 points play or 40 with S. But the only reasonable move left for me is this
>Alexander_Gozali: EGINPUU 5G GUINEP +24 83
#note This is probably what Alex hold that force him to decided GUINEP is reasonable other than exchange
>Christian_Oktavius: ENORRSU 4K NUR +16 97
#note Missing crucial bingo here. Fortunately after this my luck seems getting back
>Alexander_Gozali: DEILNOU 3F UNOILED +71 154
#note The only playable bingo for Alex
>Christian_Oktavius: EEIMORS 2A ISOMERE +79 176
#note Highest scoring play
>Alexander_Gozali: AFTW 1G WAFT +36 190
>Christian_Oktavius: DEIKQRT 1A QI +68 244
#note Fortunately for me, Alex play fast in WAFT move. It will be agonizing minutes hoping he don't take this Q bomb spot if he play slowly in previous move
>Alexander_Gozali: AJNT 10B JANT. +31 221
>Christian_Oktavius: DEIKRTZ D8 ZI.KE +56 300
#note Not a best play. All Z 50+ score is CSW exclusive word that not valid in NWL. TZADIK beat all, and not leaving Z in position that can be easily countered. Fortunately for me, my luck shine brigtly from the moment ISOMERE landed to the very last turn in this game
>Alexander_Gozali: EPR 8A PRE. +45 266
>Christian_Oktavius: ADELRTT N4 RATTLED +68 368
#note The only bingo, straight after leaving 3 consonants
>Alexander_Gozali: BEEM B10 .EMBE +32 298
>Christian_Oktavius: ACEHIRS A12 HAES +50 418
>Christian_Oktavius: ?CIIORY (challenge) +5 423
#note Missing bingo yet again here, and since I 100% sure about HAES, I also fail to spot that I can retain my S and score the same like HAES!!
>Alexander_Gozali: AILOSTU E10 .OLU +22 320
#note Alex got homeless OUTSAIL
>Christian_Oktavius: ?CIIORY 8K ICI.Y +39 462
#note Best, no bingo available. The final luck come after this
>Alexander_Gozali: ADINSST 13E .NSTAIDS +61 381
>Alexander_Gozali: ADINSST -- -61 320
#note Alex got no bingo again, however I didn't expect him to "try" like this. Reasonable in his position, since most likely I lready got both blank
With 2 tiles left in the bag, a phoney that reveal all your opponent tile will immediately reveal for you what letter still in the bag if you tracked correctly.
This means, the last 2 tile still in the bag is R and blank. Knowing that information will make your prediction for your last rack 100% correct
>Christian_Oktavius: ?EGOORW O10 OW +8 470
#note Was quite confident Alex cannot block all my bingo plays if I play this with EGRRO??
>Alexander_Gozali: ADINSST 13D S.ITS +25 345
#note Turned out that Alex has MORE THAN 10 ways to wipe-out all my possible bingo, preventing him to drop even lower in final standing
>Christian_Oktavius: ??EGORR 12I RegORGE +71 541
#note Highest scoring play. Feel bad actually for Alex since this is the game which one opponent tile will be so powerful that the other player cannot win no matter how good he is..Probably same like what happened to me in game 6. Doing crazy strategy like opening triple-triple or try a word will only make you lost even more.
But that's scrabble in a nutshell. You just cannot neutralize the luck..
There will be always a game, which you cannot win, and there will be also a game which you cannot lost, no matter how many suboptimal plays you made. Sure if will make some heartbreak, but it also what make scrabble Interesting. Accept that both, luck eventually evens itself after long run
