>Richard_Popper: ACKLO 8H CLOAK +32 32
>Samuel_Kaplan: BEENNOU L5 BUN.O +11 11
#note I hated 7K BONE with how many hooks that takes, but despite BOUNCE also taking hooks, this board would have been easier to open up in the long run. I need that against him and that also keeps better.
>Richard_Popper: DHOOS M9 HOODS +35 67
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEILNNO 5H INNO.LE +18 29
#note I did see the bingo LEONINE on this rack, but missed my spot for it. M1 it is. Also, THIS IS PHONY! Only ENNOBLE is good with all the hooks. Maybe if I'm gonna miss my spot for the bingo, probably N9 ONE is decent. That's part of why I didn't win this game. #visionsad
>Richard_Popper: DHIMU O1 HUMID +47 114
#note I didn't even hold INNOBLED* because INNOBLE* sounded like a word. Already pretty comical because I'm now behind even further. This was misscored as 55.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEEORTZ 12H ZEROE. +52 81
#note Clearly the best play.
>Richard_Popper: EPY 11I YEP +31 145
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEGNRTX 4D RETAX +57 138
#note I spent a while on this turn, but ultimately I felt this was correct over fishing with N5 (E)X or playing the middle ground move with N1 EX (not N1 AX because of Row 13 underlaps) due to me needing to create additional space when I'm behind. And I'd be sacrificing 32 points to fish which seemed crazy to do. Sim approves.
>Richard_Popper: CEILTU E3 L.UCITE +18 163
>Samuel_Kaplan: GGINNRV H12 .ING +42 180
#note Awful draw, but this is fine. The clunkiness of the V does not outweigh how much I can score and I'm lucky Richard couldn't do anything with the Z.
>Richard_Popper: FO N9 OF +32 195
>Samuel_Kaplan: EGNNRSV 13G V.N +18 198
#note I saw but was unsure of 13D NERVING. On the same token, I also did not know NERVING took an S as that bingo plays at 13D. This time, I saw enough bingo potential to warrant sacrificing 9 points to play this over NERVING.
>Richard_Popper: AQT D7 QAT +29 224
#note That's his style of play for you. He wasn't going to play F2 QAT when he can take a small lead. And he could have kept another A to set up bingoes for himself on Column C. If so, well done to him here.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGJNRS J7 J. +9 207
#note And now the J slows me down, wonderful. I didn't see 2M JEU, but I saw the possibility of hitting 1H GREENIS(H) which Richard is likely to leave open. So it perhaps was a good time to miss the better equity and scoring play. Sometimes it's not always obvious why I make a certain move, because in this case, Richard is more likely to address Column C after my fish as I'll draw ENGAGERS on Row 15 even though ENRAGES wouldn't play if I pick an A.
>Richard_Popper: ADEOTTW - +0 224
#note Not actual rack. Richard exchanged 6 tiles here.
>Samuel_Kaplan: EEGNRRS 13B RESER...G +30 237
#note Hard call here. Based on the fact that the score was recorded as 232-208 before this turn, that did influence my decision here. This time, I was hoping to draw into HUMID extensions of HUMIDITY, HUMIDIFY, and potentially HUMIDEST. I hated my odds of drawing into HUMIDORS with only 1 O remaining. 8A GRE(AT) would have been good for keeping ENRS to draw a T for HUMIDEST, but this time that was much more unlikely than me hitting bingoes last turn. Not to mention that there are no valuable S hooks on this board.
>Richard_Popper: ITY O1 .....ITY +51 275
#note That's yet another thing that didn't go my way this game.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ABDEFIN 12A FADE +33 270
#note I did not see O10 FADEIN. That is definitely the play. I guess I'm fortunate to still be in this one. #findingmedium
>Richard_Popper: AILP A8 PILA. +30 305
>Samuel_Kaplan: BGIINSW 11D BIG +17 287
#note 3E LIB would have been nice to make an additional bingo lane on Row 2 for myself potentially. Was too focused on getting the G off my rack with the G in ZING.
>Richard_Popper: ?AEEORW B2 OvERAWE +76 381
#note Nice find by him and it was only a matter of time.
>Samuel_Kaplan: DINSTTW B11 W..T +19 306
#note Yea, I've had some untimely draws, but I can point to several mistakes that came with this game too.
>Richard_Popper: AMU N1 AMU +27 408
>Samuel_Kaplan: DINSSTV G9 VIS +17 323
#note I didn't see his out play, but I really needed to get the V off my rack at this point.
>Richard_Popper: ?AAEIR 15D AnER.IA +8 416
#note H1 ElI(XI)R racks up more spread even with that allowing me to play out with DENTS or TENDS!

While this game featured some wild swings, I can't be missing my spot for LEONINE and not realizing only ENNOBLE takes hooks and UNNOBLE is only good by itself. Seeing 3E LIB would have been helpful too even though that turned out to be all for naught. It also didn't help that Richard beat me to the HUMID extensions, but that's more of a contributing factor at that point in the game as opposed to "the play that decided the outcome". Final score was recorded as 434-323. Good game Richard!
