>Jackson: EEEHIIQ H7 QI +22 22
#note QI wins a sim by about 5 points, but this type of board is surely not favourable for me here, so I really did consider just exchanging. I regretted QI very quickly, and I have a feeling we should get more into the habit of exchanging in this type of position

#note I guess I wasnt regretting the position too badly here
>Yaacov_Barak: DEELNRS 12E SLENDER +70 92
>Jackson: AEEEOTU 7G E.UATE +17 59
#note hard to pass this up, but could exchange to not give easy and large potential overlaps. I think EQUATE is still fine though, wins a sim by 6-7
>Yaacov_Barak: NXY 10D N.XY +62 154
>Jackson: EINOOTU K4 TOU.ON +12 71
#note damn OUTIE, forgot about it this turn. f2 looks right here, or UNION, I saw union but wanted to block the 6/8 rows at least partially. TOUTON sims back a point or two from those two plays.

>Yaacov_Barak: FOOT 13G FOOT +29 213
>Jackson: AEIINTY H3 I.Y +9 106
#note the two plays I most strongly considered dont show up on static - 3M YIN and this, IVY. YETI 11J is also a decent slowplay, standard option. YIN is cool because it's the most aggressive, but I felt like it just didnt work as a plan enough, and IVY can work because its still early in the game so a bingo will put me back in the game with lots of time left. Sim prefers YETI by a couple points to IVY, but has YIN as the highest win%, which I dont fully trust.

>Yaacov_Barak: ABEGGI B2 BAGGIE. +26 262
>Jackson: DEIJLPW 1L PLEW +47 231
#note considered JAWED or JAPED to keep the precious vowels, but PLEW scores too much, and for the plan of drawing the vowels and catching Yaacov through vowel hoarding, I will need to draw more of the vowels in the bag, so in a way it is okay to shed one now, since I will not win this game without drawing the E.
>Yaacov_Barak: AHR A1 RAH +27 289
>Jackson: DEIIJKV 3A ..J +26 257
#note vowel hoarding, I don't want to shed my E. That said JIVE is okay, shedding the V and reaching for the blanks is great here, I was close to playing JIVE here. Maybe that is the best shot, HAJ + HAJI play + EQUATED play is often not enough to catch, so it might be better to focus on drawing towards the blank.
>Yaacov_Barak: ILN D2 LIN +20 309
>Jackson: DEIIKOV 6J K.DO +38 295
#note sweet to hoard vowels + set up OVINE type plays
>Yaacov_Barak: DM 3G D.M +19 328
>Jackson: DEIIRUV 7G ......D +24 319
#note I think this was a strategic oversight. DUI F4 does a similar thing but better, arguably, drawing more tiles towards the blanks and towards OVERT/OVERS, and I could possibly get in a situation where yaacov bingoes and I bingo out, whereas bingoes after EQUATED just win on the spot for him. I could also exchange down to E here, just go all in on the blanks and beating him to a bingo. DUI and exchanging have to be better than EQUATED here. EQUATED would be a good play if there were no blanks out, but the blanks change everything, because I will not be able to just out-vowel my way to a win.
