#note it was easy to look to this turn for where this game went south - I was convinced that VOE must have been correct. I deliberated VOE and VOLK for a long time. I realized OKE, while often keeping an S rack, is no guarantee, so I am favoured to hit the spot, and DENS was maybe a bit less risky because of double consonant draws after VOE. VOE sims 2 point better, exactly the difference in score, which makes sense, because the 2 point difference in score did not register too much in my estimation. VOE is pretty defensive, which is always nice.

#note or D(E)V or V(E)ND, pretty close really. This is more the type of play I want to make here

#note I did not see PRESOLVED and would not have thought that was good - HARP/PRESOLVED looks clearly best

#note funny how tunnel vision works - at no point did I consider 2N NO for 2 more points. I might still have played ON for 10, since having the O1 lane a bit protected can really help me in the future, plus allowing 3 row setus for the S, stuff like AWN can be really useful. NO or ONO I1 are fine. I considered NAOS/AURUMS as well, all these plays sim close

>Jackson: ADEGMNS 7A GEM.A +28 130
#note Q prefers GAMS here by a bit, DEN doesn't bingo much less than DNS, though DNS could be much better after a turn of not hitting. I am fine with GEMMA

#note tough turn here. BIZ/BOKEH is the most standard, DITZ keeps BOKEH lane, and I could play something like BIND to set up H11 Z plays or B9. BIZ wins a sim by a couple points over BAD, BIDS, DITZ. My problem with all BOKEH plays is that they can let Dan really control the board, leaving me with very few options, which might not be recognized in the sim. I still like DITZ here for that reason
