#note I knew that playing up in D1 I'd have a sign on my back for situations like this. I just don't have the word knowledge yet to challenge random 7's off. I considered DITZ 12k, to create a race-to-the-Y situation, but is it really justified at this spread? After CUZ I am down a tempo but it's tied. Not sure. Similar idea is possible with JARVEYS/SCUDI, although I knew neither of those at the time
>Jackson: DEILNOQ -3 +0 127
>SkylerLutz: DEIIPSW 12J DIP. +14 130
#note Tricky turn. I did see WIDDIE 14J but wasn't 100% on it with IE instead of just the Y and floating the E seemed reckless. I also stared at IWIS L12 for awhile, but the S placement seemed reckless considering Jackson just exchanged. At least his bingo's over/underlapping DIPT give back potential bomb in row H. I also stared at plays like WED N13 AND DEW.
>Jackson: EFFILR 11E RIFFLE +27 154
>SkylerLutz: EEEISWY 14J WEE.Y +40 170
>Jackson: ?LOOPRU 5E UROPOd.L +68 222
>SkylerLutz: AEEIIST 4J A.EE +27 197
#note Wow, BEEFIEST H8 is quite a star play. Obviously did not see that. Short of that, AJEE I felt scored well, balanced the rack, and opened a lane on row 3.
>Jackson: GILN H11 .LING +30 252
>SkylerLutz: IIIRSST 6B IRIS +8 205
#note I did see plays like SIRE K11 but I don't think I can stomach any more I's. Was really praying for a D for RIFFLED but I played it off with DIPT. Sigh
>Jackson: DM K11 D.M. +42 294
>SkylerLutz: EGILSTW F10 W.G +15 220
#note Did not know WIGLETS 3D, live and learn
>Jackson: AQU G13 QUA +48 342
>SkylerLutz: EIILOST A4 OILIEST +79 299
>SkylerLutz: EIILOST -- -79 220
#note I should have been more careful here and just played in row 3. I was not 100% on LIRIS* and I did not know ROILIEST. Live and learn.
>Jackson: ABEMNOR A3 ARAMIDS +90 432
>Jackson: ABEMNOR -- -90 342
>SkylerLutz: EIILOST 3D OILIEST +61 281
#note The sign on my back is showing. I was pretty confident on MIRI backhooks so I was able to challnege this off. Jackson agreed after the game that it's a pretty common exploit to try to get bluffs through the turn after a lost challenge.
>Jackson: ADIM 4A MAID +26 368
>SkylerLutz: EENNNOT A1 NEE. +18 299
#note Ugh. I've been chasing an O this whole game to overlap BOKEHS and now I can't hit the spot well.
>Jackson: BNO 7G NOB +29 397
>SkylerLutz: AENNOTT 3L TON +13 312
#note Did not know INTONATE. I simply haven't gotten around to 8's yet, been too busy working through 5's. I played TON because I thought there was a decent (?) chance Jackson didn't hold any backhooks and any blocks would give me lanes for 7's back. The unseen pool looked pretty great for this rack.
>Jackson: AHRS O1 RASH +37 434
>SkylerLutz: AEGNORT C2 AN. +22 334
>SkylerLutz: AEGNORT -- -22 312
#note Sigh, he had a backhook. Did not know NEGATRON 1A. I only saw NEGATOR with no place for it. Figured I could score decent here and try to hook RANI next turn.
>Jackson: AEINOTU 11M .AO +14 448
>SkylerLutz: AEGNORT H1 GA. +12 324
#note Oops, NOILY does not compare...
>Jackson: AAEINTU 1H .UNITE +8 456
>SkylerLutz: ENORT 12D TE. +10 334
#note Tricky game. Seeking any and all recommendations and feedback, tyvm!
