#note oh, this doesn't take an S. Wow. So probably 6H KORU# is the best play to preserve the M column, though this seems to hit the C better than that. KE(RE)RUS# seems not worth it, though I never came close to finding that
>BobLinn: OY L4 YO... +26 124
>JoshuaSokol: AILOPRS 5K P.OL +26 66
#note seems like it's between this and 5J AP(O). A lot of it has to do with what Bob is going to potentially try to block next turn. POOL allows him to block the C with 9I overlaps making LODE, which aren't usually so great. But this does set up a big lane with the S on column O. AP(O) makes those blocks of the C harder, since it turns LOD# into ALOD#, but doesn't create a secondary threat.
>BobLinn: AOV N2 OVA. +14 138
>JoshuaSokol: AAIPRRS E9 AIR +9 75
#note got very afraid of the fact that no I's had been played, and no I was played on the OVA(L) turn when VIOL or VIAL seem like good ways to not duplicate (or unduplicate) I's. Maybe Bob had just one I and didn't notice the problem, but that means 7 I's remain. I don't want to get caught with my pants down, but this play was definitely a big sacrifice in points.

>BobLinn: DNOWY 10J DOWNY +33 188
>JoshuaSokol: ABEFHNO H11 .EHAB +33 178
#note My instinct was that this was a really bad play. For some reason I didn't consider FONE# at 12A, only at 12C when looking for big overlaps. I would do that on a redo, unless I remembered HEBONA# from the depths of my mind, which is clear best at 12A for 44.
>BobLinn: EENQU 12A QUEEN +60 248
>JoshuaSokol: FIMNOTU A12 .UIM +45 223
#note still in it, since this sets up FO(U)NT
>BobLinn: BEILZ 14F BL.IZE +43 291
>BobLinn: AEEINST (challenge) +5 296
>JoshuaSokol: FINNOOT B10 FO.NT +38 261
>BobLinn: AEEINST 5C ETESIAN +72 368
>JoshuaSokol: FINNOST H1 NONF.T +39 300
>BobLinn: HIU A8 HUI +23 391
>JoshuaSokol: IORSSTT 2B RISOTT.S +70 370
#note realistically this just loses unless he has all consos, which makes HUI way less likely to have been the play last turn. Maybe I can win after 12A (QUEEN)IT(E)S, which is very cute. I can probably hit some stuff from the B in REHAB or through the Y in DOWNY, but he doesn't have to empty the bag, so I really don't know if QUEENITES is simply a better practical choice, or not even better at all.
