>Eric_Goldstein: CDEOYZ 8D ZYDECO +62 62
#note And we're back from the lunch break. That is not a word you see everyday, especially to start a game.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AAEEMNT F1 EMANATE. +69 69
#note I felt it was worth it to sacrifice 1 point to put an E in a less dangerous spot in a 3x3 line, and the sim agrees.
>Eric_Goldstein: DEHORV 1A HOVER.D +45 107
>Samuel_Kaplan: EIINNST J2 INTINES +83 152
#note I was not surprised to see 1A EINST(E)IN get blocked, but this is still clearly best.
>Eric_Goldstein: AEGINSS H8 .AGINESS +86 193
#note Lol. What a slugfest this has been!
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEGIORT C1 .OG +14 166
#note And here's where things get a little dicey. This is a crappy rack that has bingo potential if I fish, but I also need to not draw 2 more vowels. And I can expect Eric to block something after I play off 2 tiles on a wide open board like this.
>Eric_Goldstein: AARU G11 AURA +14 207
#note That doesn't surprise me either.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEHIRTW D8 .ITHER +36 202
#note WATERI(S)H got blocked this time, yay. I will admit that I was mesmerized by Eric drawing into a lot of good things after playing longer and should not have tried minting the board with this move for another score on this board with there only being 2 Ns left. F12 HAW or 9G H(A)W score about the same and keep better. Yes, I might protect myself a little better by keeping the W to score again at F14, but the lanes in EMANATED and INTINES probably won't get blocked as often after playing off my H and W as as move like VOG. Threrefore, it would have been fine to keep AEIRT or EIRT to attempt to bingo again. My next draw was disastrous, and Eric probably would have ran away from me regardless if I screw up this turn with how well he drew all game. Maybe this would have been awash, idk. #strategylarge
>Eric_Goldstein: ?AEILPU 15H .PInULAE +80 287
#note That's just how this game has gone. SPIrULAE and SPIcULAE also work for him. Nice find Eric!
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEGOPUW F12 POW +38 240
#note Looks fine. Perhaps I would have drawn things like OP or OU or GU to my AEIRT or EIRT leave, which would have put me in an even bigger hole in a lot of cases. So maybe I actually got lucky that I wouldn't necessarily be bingoing this turn anyway?
>Eric_Goldstein: DTU E5 DUT. +26 313
>Samuel_Kaplan: AEGITUW 3I U.WIT +18 258
#note G3 WAGE is fine despite keeping worse. This board is still wide open and I could use something better. #findingmedium
>Eric_Goldstein: Q J14 Q. +31 344
>Samuel_Kaplan: ABEEFGI K11 BEGI. +25 283
>Eric_Goldstein: EIKLNOR A1 .ORNLIKE +98 442
#note I did not expect that to come down after QI.
>Samuel_Kaplan: AAEFFTV 4L FAVA +34 317
#note I don't have a choice at this point. Nothing to lose now.
>Eric_Goldstein: BDEIMOR O4 .MBEROID +89 531
#note Are you kidding me?! After he didn't even have a place to bingo before FAVA?! That's just rotten on my end and another nice find by him.
>Samuel_Kaplan: ACEFRTX L8 CAREX +56 373
#note 9G FAX for 51 is great. And I would have bingoed out in 2 spots because I drew LO out of the bag!
>Eric_Goldstein: ?JLNOSY 15A eNJOYS +57 588
#note Looks like his clear best play.
>Samuel_Kaplan: FLOT B8 LOFT +17 390
#note LOCATER would have played in 2 spots. I just ran into a freight train this game. Final score was recorded as 590-392. You got me good Eric, well played!
>Samuel_Kaplan: (L) +2 392
