>Niel_Gan: ANORTTT 8G NOTT +8 8
#note Vs equity moves, TOT bings less for opponent and more on subsequent turns for me, but may not be true vs more defensive responses.
>Matthew_O'Connor: CEO J6 CO.E +12 12
>Niel_Gan: AELORST 7A OLESTRA +62 70
#note Was not sure of COTE or its plural, but didn't get a chance to chall bc went to get water on previous turn.
>Matthew_O'Connor: EINV A4 ENV.I +27 39
>Niel_Gan: ADEEHII 8C AHI +23 93
#note Til EADISH.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AEGOT 9C TOGAE +26 65
>Niel_Gan: ADEEIMW 10D DEAW +34 127
#note ENVOI + TOGAE = possible RE keep, making taking the points with DEW scarier. DEAWIE or WAIDE are interesting options - defense and pool has 2 blanks plus lots of Is. EIM with my play prob too weak a keep. Took too long here.
>Matthew_O'Connor: DEILNRT K9 TENDRIL +68 133
>Niel_Gan: ?EEIMOO J12 OOM +26 153
#note Prob best, didn't like leaving a huge bomb spot with KXQ out.
>Matthew_O'Connor: DENU L10 NUDE +27 160
>Niel_Gan: ?EEEIRU B4 EE +6 159
#note 6I E(C)U better if I'll only be scoring 5 or 6 points, otherwise could play longer and score a little more.
>Matthew_O'Connor: BIS M13 SIB +18 178
>Niel_Gan: ?CEEIRU M5 ECURIEs +65 224
>Matthew_O'Connor: OP 15M .OP +21 199
>Niel_Gan: DFINRSU 4J FUND +26 250
#note Seemed best with fewer vowels left, but took too long to play it.
>Matthew_O'Connor: BIJ 3B JIB +34 233
#note NG: I figured a hard choice if not holding an A, but don't think speed of play necessarily means A/no A, especially after I took forever on previous turn.
>Niel_Gan: GHILRRS N4 ISH +40 290
#note G(R)RL miss is -12% here. It even keeps HIRS for big -ISH plays that could respond to AJEE plays if they happen. Funny I missed it given it was already the horrible keep from my play. Also took way too long here.
>Matthew_O'Connor: UY 4D YU +24 257
>Niel_Gan: FGLMPRR K2 FR.G +16 306
#note Punishment for my previous sins. G(R)RL still better here while up by this amount, even if keep generically a bit worse.
>Matthew_O'Connor: ?AILNRS O6 ALdRINS +79 336
>Niel_Gan: AELMPRY 2C PALMERY +82 388
>Niel_Gan: AELMPRY -- -82 306
#note What a pool. Fascinating choices too. If my play were a valid word, it would be best by ~10%, followed by YAM/YAP, and then LAMPREY would actually be worse than even YAM/YAP by 20%.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AXZ 2A ZAX +69 405
>Niel_Gan: AELMPRY E7 ....RLY +22 328
#note Just DEAWY or TIGERY better.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AAGKOQV 12A KOGA. +30 435
>Niel_Gan: AEIMPTW 13B MIT. +30 358
#note I didn't notice A(MITY) until after my play (bad, hooks to fours and esp high playability fours should become automatic). PITY is a huge improvement keeping WAME/FUNDIE and not allowing VOM (A must be spent to play V, reducing total score and lowering flexibility). OWE is even better because it means either playing the A for 2 to completely block KAMI sequences while allowing free range dinking, or playing the A for 11 and allowing (KA)M + (KAM)I for 13 + 30 followed by more dinking and then an extra +8 from the unplayed V.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AQV B11 V.. +8 443
>Niel_Gan: AEPW 5E PEW +24 382
#note Ugh at least AMITY first. I saw it but somehow forgot his only playable tile was also an A. Managing time better in midgame a must.
>Matthew_O'Connor: AQ A12 .A +16 459
>Niel_Gan: A G4 A. +5 387
>Niel_Gan: (challenge) +5 392
#note Adding the +5 here because I forgot it for TIGERLY.
Also, L4 (N)A. Interesting choices in a bunch of spots in this game, too bad I didn't make the best of it.
