#note Sims half a point behind 8G FUB 16, but I liked how restrictive this is since neither play has a great leave. The stats all point a bit more in the direction of FUB, so I could be wrong, but it's close. Taking more points with 8D CUBIT sims about 2.5 further behind.

#note He seemed more likely than usual to have a Y after COZ, so 10F DITZ looked risky. The problem is there aren't many good options in general. With my play I hoped to keep it tight enough to force him to open, while holding a somewhat bingo-prone leave. 10E BORTZ might be a decent compromise but the DDI leave is weak, and harder to capitalize on if he overlaps or opens the board. If he does have the Y, he's going to open the board after his likely DITZY play, but I'm not sure who comes out ahead more in those cases.

#note Not sure if I saw D6 OI 17, but after his last few short plays, he seemed close to a bingo and I wanted to block things. OI is favored by 9 points in a sim. EEIRT is a good leave which will bingo 29% of the time here per the sim, but being ahead a bit, defense seemed in order too. Still, I think I'd take OI here.

#note Sims best, plus he's not likely to have high-scoring tiles for the triple on column H after his fish last turn.

#note It's no good! I honestly thought it might be, but it is just the name of a club in downtown Durham, near where I live. If not for this, I would probably have played H12 KENO 39, which sims best, but PINHOOK "sims" almost 5 points better.

#note I took a couple of minutes here because I couldn't remember if QUEYS took extensions, as I know QUEST does. It turns out there is LACQUEYS, which I wasn't sure of, but with C's and L's gone, it's not possible with this pool. I also thought the Y might be useful for some reason. There was something to that, as QUEYS sims best, but only by about 5.5. Ryan laughed heartily when I put this down after the delay, and I explained that I had options. "You were deciding between which 100 point play to make?"

#note B6 JEED 58 is a lot better. I probably missed it. If I had played QUEST I'd have GYTTJA 1J 57!
>Ryan_Fischer: ADEEPRT N7 PREDATE. +64 343
#note I really lucked out that this was his bingo, with the 3x3 at row 1 sitting there for turn after turn.
