>Jason: ADEKNW J7 WANKED +42 64
>Niel: ADEINST K1 NIDATES +80 102
#note Not opening those hot spots is worth a 4-6 pt sacrifice here, making this play a tad worse than 10B DETAINS for 76.
>Jason: AEX J1 AXE +56 120
>Niel: FOW L4 WOF +35 137
#note Didn't record the rest of my rack here.
>Jason: EORY I10 OYER +22 142
>Niel: ?EILQRV 1H tR..Q +69 206
#note 11E LIVE(YE)R for 52 is clearly best here, taking out the Z setup and leaving likely solid to excellent Q plays next turn. Sims 21% better with Z inference. 12D RELIV(ED) for 30 also sims 7% better than my play with inferencing. This is basically the same mistake I made against Matthew in the TAJ/ZA game - in this case I think I was distracted by the fact that with 4 Us I was decently likely to draw into TRANQUIL on a subsquent turn with IL in my leave.
>Jason: ELSZ H12 ZELS +94 236
>Niel: EIILLRV 13E LIV.. +12 218
#note Think I could've found RELIV(ER) if I looked harder, -5%. Odd that the word is collins only. (AXE)L almost as good, so word knowledge is no excuse.

#note Monkey's paw UU
>Jason: BIR 15C RIB +11 275
>Niel: EIIIIRU -IIIIU +0 266
#note Not my actual rack, again neglected to record. Also wtf did I play LIVER with no S on my rack
>Jason: AELRSST D7 SALTERS +75 350
>Niel: EEEIMOR M3 MEE +19 285
>Jason: ANNOY E4 ANNOY +23 373
>Niel: CEINORT 3A COINTER +79 364
>Niel: DEGHIOU (challenge) +5 369
#note Probably shouldn't have gone for it at only 75% sure with CREATION available, but I figured I wouldn't hallucinate this hook. And the likely +5 is not nothing.
>Jason: HNU 4A HUN +25 398
>Niel: DEGHIOU A1 OU.. +27 396
#note Chickening out of (CH)OUGH - another word I probably glanced at when looking at hooks - takes this from 42% to 33%. Took way too long to chicken out of it too.
>Jason: ?ACDETU N4 eDUCATE +74 472
>Niel: DEEGHIP O8 HEDGE +53 449
#note Fishing for (HEDGE)PIG on a 5 tile draw, needing only the G, seemed as good a chance as I could give myself in this pool. Of course he could have it too, but if he does and plays it I'm extra dead anyway.
>Jason: AAAGIOP 15H .AGA +5 477
>Niel: IIPRTTV M10 PITT +18 467
#note No reason to phony here, I should just play VIP(E)R blocking PA(T)IO and lose narrowly. I didn't see PATIO in game, but even if I miss it I ought to play my less flexible and higher-point tiles first.
>Jason: AIOP 2F POI +24 501
>Niel: IRV 11B VI.R +14 481
#note tRANQ was scored as 66 and ZELS was scored as 88, making our final score inaccurate on both sides. I deserved to lose this game after not blocking the setup and then playing LIVER, never mind the other errors. I'll have to take a look to see if HEDGE ever wins against optimal play.
