#note This play hurts to make, but it's correct because Jeremy isnt guaranteed to have an S. It becomes a much more interesting position in the hypothetical where he had played PAVS and we can 100% infer an S in his leave. In that case, it could be better to sacrifice 25 pts and make the second-best play. (though probably still not since 7consos is well within his range) The 35 pt play in this position eluded me, so Im glad he didnt play PAVS (answer next turn)

#note Sims about even with GNAW, but I whiffed on GOWLAN which sims 1pt ahead.

#note I spotted the standard equity play of AXLE but decided to jump on a chance to kill this board almost entirely. There are two issues with this play though. The first is that PRETAX causes me a few issues with P? unseen. I was aware of this issue and decided it wasnt a huge problem. The second is that there is simply a much better version of this play available: I6 VELETA. This takes out all the same lanes while also killing the pesky I column. It also keeps the X digging for O1 XI instead of the clunky V. Proving I dont have great instincts for this particular style of play
>Jeremy_Hildebrand: QU 11E QU.. +26 299
>Matthew_Tunnicliffe: EINORUV 12D OI +15 380
#note Another somewhat clumsy block. VIN(ED) does this better. Though the V isnt as dreadful a leave as it normally is, hoping to come in handy as a deadening tile at some point.

#note No great blocks here. so I concede a 8-9% chance of losing here, the result of not blocking well enough earlier in the game
