#note Wellington Janniversary Round 6

Normally with a 3-2 record, you wouldn't think you have much chance of winning a 7-game one-day, but my nice spread gives me the tiebreaker if I can manage to get to 5-2 and no one gets 6...
>Stanley_Ngundi: ACNOTV K5 CAV.T +20 20
>Stanley_Ngundi: ACNOTV -- -20 0
#note It's hard to have a better first 2 turns - I bingo, my opponent phonies and has to retain a C and V for the future, and I draw another bingo.
>Chris_Tallman: DEIKORS J1 DORKIES. +67 133
#note I saw the possibility of SKIDOOER (102) but felt too unsure - I'm possibly too gun-shy about -ER words in general. I should have seen SKODIER (86) though as I know the 5 SKODY and most things compare in CSW.
>Stanley_Ngundi: ACNOTV 1G CON. +21 21
#note I was happy to see Stanley retain the V.
>Chris_Tallman: AAABBMR 7F BABA. +21 154
#note I considered KABAR (didn't know KABAB though should've figured as there're tons of alternate spellings of that) - but didn't want to create a big S hook on the triple line being up by so much already.
>Stanley_Ngundi: ATV 6E TAV +20 41
>Chris_Tallman: AEGIMPR M2 GRAPIE. +22 176
#note I saw both PRIMAGE and EPIGRAM - wasn't sure of either (maybe 70%). I liked the board control (both restrictively and exhaustively) of GRAPIER and didn't want to lose a turn phonying and miss my chance to shape the board like this. Both are 8k probability, in the future that's within the range I'd like to know cold. UMPIRAGE was also available from the U in SANTOUR.

>Stanley_Ngundi: EHINRST K8 .RNITHES +72 211
#note Only bingo, related to ORNISES, which I learned at club the week after this tournament, nice find.
>Chris_Tallman: ?EILNTW 15D ToWLINE. +83 448
#note I really should've seen WESTLINS or WINGLETS, I did look a bit for a bingo that doubled the W.
>Stanley_Ngundi: FY O12 FY +28 239
>Chris_Tallman: AEELV N1 VEALE +36 484
#note Partial rack.
>Stanley_Ngundi: Z 14J Z. +62 301

#note Blocking bingo lines and leaving one in the bag, given the unseen blank.
>Stanley_Ngundi: ?EIIO I7 ..I +4 305
>Chris_Tallman: DLLOQTU 6J .QU.D +33 520
#note Saving BALLOT to go out next turn from the BA in the center of the board.
