>Joshua_Sokol: AGIQRRZ N6 QI. +32 50
#note wondered if he knows VILLAE. (F)AQIR would be interesting if I was super desperate for like O1 GRAZES or something
>Adam_Henderson: AAPU K3 PAUA +17 109
>Joshua_Sokol: ACGRRTZ L1 CZAR +44 94
#note thought about sacrificing 10 for GAZ(A)R. CRT is so much better than GRT and this doesn't open up the easy scoring spots. Sim agrees with the sacrifice, but I couldn't stomach it. The G is the worst tile. My saving grace was inferring that he had less scoring stuff than average. But wow. 3 points. I didn't trust my gut. #questionable
>Adam_Henderson: AH M2 AH +37 146
>Joshua_Sokol: GIIIRTU 1G IRITI. +24 118
#note closest I've ever been to GUITGUIT
>Adam_Henderson: OS N1 OS +28 174
>Joshua_Sokol: GNOTUWY 2E WYN +19 137
#note hated everything. Quackle suggests W(I)G 7M. I get AUTO(g)ENY with AE and TOURNEY and YOUTHEN with VILLAE, YOUN(g)EST as well with ES, BUOYANT with 2A. If you're wondering why I'm treating this position like a pre-endgame, that's how bad this position is. I ended up running out of ideas and wanted to continue to distract Adam from VILLAE. with the E I figured I get TOGUE/EW if that huge scoring spot I shouldn't open stays open. This was a very difficult position that I failed to navigate. GUY M12 is also recommended, but yeah, I think W(I)G 7M. #strategysmall
>Adam_Henderson: ?DEGNOS 11D NOoDGES +75 249
#note probably sensed this was coming
>Joshua_Sokol: EGGOTUY 10B GOUTY +37 174
#note yay, top equity sets up sneaky hook
>Adam_Henderson: EJLO 3B JOLE +27 276
>Joshua_Sokol: ADEGMRV 1A GRAVE +45 219
#note now there are two live hooks that are important and that I'm hoping I can play around. He doesn't seem to know VILLAE or see AGOUTY, but not sure about the 2nd one yet, and he could always just see it.
>Adam_Henderson: HIP 12C HIP +27 303
>Joshua_Sokol: BDEIMRT 13B BITE +32 251
#note really complicated to bear the load of both of the hooks like this. Hated blocking a lot of AGOUTY, but didn't think B(E)D M7 was quite worth the points sacrifice at this score. Maybe fishing is still necessary. TIMBRED* didn't feel like it would work with VILLAE since he would challenge both
>Adam_Henderson: NOW 4A WON +21 324
>Joshua_Sokol: CDIMNRT M7 M.D +23 274
>Adam_Henderson: FNO 14A FON +26 350
>Joshua_Sokol: CDEINRT 15A ED +30 304
#note not sure I'm really in striking distance here, might have to rely on an out-bingo. I knew I couldn't allow 15A EX though, and it felt like he had it, maybe even that he set it up in some suboptimal way.
>Adam_Henderson: AESX A4 .AXES +45 395
>Joshua_Sokol: ACDINRT B6 IN +17 321
#note felt pretty boned. Knew this likely wouldn't be enough to win if I drew the bingo immediately (CATERED or CURATED) but maybe felt it could win in some scenarios. I was ready to fish again next turn after this. O3 plays using 5 letters (ACRID, CANID, ANTIC) allowed him to play off one tile next turn and outrun me. #questionable
>Adam_Henderson: ELM 5C ELM +13 408
#note step one, he blocks the lane he's afraid of for cheap
>Joshua_Sokol: AABCDRT 9B AB +17 338
#note maybe fish the A for BRACTED. Was going all out on him just not thinking VILLAE was good and tracking properly
>Adam_Henderson: EEEIKTU M12 EEK +16 424
>Joshua_Sokol: ACDERTU 14J CAR.ED +38 376
#note he thought maybe VILLAE could be good. I would have tied if he played KUE 3G. Close.
>Adam_Henderson: EITU O3 ETUI +16 440
