>Arie_Sinke: ADNOOTT 8D TONDO +14 14
#note I never know what to do with this type of opening rack. Sim likes this play.
>Libero_Paolella: ANOY F6 AN.OY +18 18
>Arie_Sinke: AIRRTVY E3 VARY +25 39
#note This looks right. Optimizes score and leave as well as I can.
>Libero_Paolella: AEO G7 O.EA +18 36
>Arie_Sinke: EEIJRTT D8 .RIJET +26 65
#note I played TRIJET to undouble the Ts - Quackle suggests that JIVE 3C may be a better play. ERTT may have some surprising strength as a leave.
>Libero_Paolella: ILTW C12 WILT +23 59
>Arie_Sinke: ACEHNQT 15A QA. +36 101
#note This looks right.
>Libero_Paolella: EENNPR H10 PENNER +35 94
>Arie_Sinke: CEHNOTU 2B UNCO +23 124
#note This play is not favored by the sim. UNTO in the same spot, surprisingly, looks quite good. Probably because I will usually hit something with COVARY. I tried to optimize score and leave here but just missed the mark I guess.
>Libero_Paolella: BEO A1 OBE +24 118
>Arie_Sinke: AEHISTT 14G H.SITATE +76 200
#note This throws the board open, but scores six more points than my alternative bingos (ATHEIST I3 and STAITHE B6). It may or may not be worth it.
>Libero_Paolella: ACER O12 CARE +39 157
>Arie_Sinke: BEEGMUU 13K EMU +20 220
#note This isn't the draw I was looking for, but my play is fine.
>Libero_Paolella: AFI C2 .AIF +14 171
>Arie_Sinke: BDEGIIU B8 GUIDE +15 235
#note This is really poor - I should play BUDGIE in the same spot for the extra 5 points and extra turnover of a poor tile (B) towards a blank or an S.
>Libero_Paolella: IKO B4 KOI +20 191
#note This looks good. With two Ss plus the blanks out I can justify spending one relatively cheaply (compared with PILAF 4B for 20) here.
>Arie_Sinke: BFGILPS 11K FLIPS +27 262
#note This is fine. Note that there are two blanks out, so turnover is definitely my friend here.
>Libero_Paolella: EIR 12J REI +25 216
>Arie_Sinke: ?ABDGGS A7 BA +21 283
#note I didn't see 7F NOGG for 11, which looks like an improvement over this. It's aggressive, but it seems warranted, and I leave myself too vulnerable with my DGGS? leave - it may be several turns before I can bingo if I hang on to that.
>Libero_Paolella: OX 3E .OX +21 237
>Arie_Sinke: ?DGGHRS F2 S.H +25 308
#note I decided to go for defense here. Libero is basically limited to bingoing with TONDOS after this play. He was very low on time at this point (if not already over) so this puts pressure on him and will potentially induce him to go further over on time, plus games tend to move more slowly (turn-wise) when you play defensively. Quackle suggests GRITH 13A, but I'm fine with this choice.
>Libero_Paolella: ELMSUVW 15N M. +8 245
>Arie_Sinke: ?DEGGLR H4 GREG. +13 321
#note Weird position. With my opponent low on time, I thought that a curveball (forcing him to switch from fishing for sevens to fishing for eights) might be called for. F7 NOGGED is a better way to do the same thing.
>Libero_Paolella: IV 12F VI. +6 251
>Arie_Sinke: ?ADLUWZ N9 ZA. +16 337
#note Libero was already 3 minutes over at this point. I can stop him from bingoing, so this play is very weak. 5H RAzZ looks best here.
>Libero_Paolella: ?DELNST 5G T.uNDLES +66 317
#note He went 3 minutes over, and the final score was 337-303.
