>Su_Walker: EEEE -EEEE +0 0
#note Whangarei Round 27
>Chris_Tallman: ADILNNY 8H DANNY +26 26
#note Picked this over LINDY to reduce unique floaters in response to Su's opening exchange.
>Su_Walker: EI H7 I.E +4 4
>Chris_Tallman: ABDEILP 10F PIEBALD +75 101
>Su_Walker: FIS 11E SIF +21 25
>Chris_Tallman: AIIOOST 12C IOTAS +23 124
#note I decided to burn the S to score a bit and limit Su's bingo lines as much as possible - if I force her to bingo next to the I in IDEE, or to a letter in DANNY, I'll get playback on the top triple line.
>Su_Walker: EEV J5 EVE. +15 40
>Chris_Tallman: AEIOOTX 11I OXO +37 161
#note Considered OX to take out the bingo threats around EVEN, but the OX hooks will score a bunch anyway and the leave is much better with OXO.
>Su_Walker: ??GKNPS C7 SKiPp.NG +78 118
#note I wondered for the rest of the game about SKIPPINGS - it's good! Su took a while looking for a way to score more points here - KINGPINS scores most - 88 as it doubles the K, a tough one to spot with 2 blanks.
>Chris_Tallman: AEEIOTW 8A WO.E +36 197
>Su_Walker: ERUV 5I R.VUE +16 134
>Chris_Tallman: AAEINTU 12J ETUI +21 218
#note I took a few minutes on this turn and considered AUA next to the NG of SKIPPING - but decided to score a bit more and take out the scoring spot under OXO. This does create a hard to block S hook with ETUIS though. I prefer TUINA/WOKEN (21) as it scores and blocks the WOKEN hook and the bingo lane atop the R in REVUE, but I never saw that option in-game.
>Su_Walker: GIILYZ 14A ZI.GILY +46 180
>Su_Walker: GIILYZ -- -46 134
>Chris_Tallman: AAEHJNT E5 JEAN +34 252
#note I wanted to play HAJ under REVUE (36) to keep AENT since I didn't see a good play for Su hooking HAJI despite knowing she has 2 I's - but not knowing her 7th tile I decided not to risk it - I also know she can't parallel JEAN and I'm keeping AH for that spot.
>Su_Walker: GIILYZ 5E .IZ +19 153
>Chris_Tallman: ADEEHRT A8 .REATHED +98 350
#note I wasn't 100% on this and saw GATHERED (and HEARTED before it was blocked), and knew that I didn't need spread - so I almost chickened out - happy I didn't.
>Su_Walker: GOY 4L GOY +22 175
>Chris_Tallman: ADLMORW 13J LORD +33 383
#note I should've probably played MAW atop GOY first to block the S hook, but the game is won anyway.
>Su_Walker: BIL 14C .LIB +13 188
>Chris_Tallman: AAMNQRW 3M MAW +31 414
>Su_Walker: IT G3 TI. +13 201
>Chris_Tallman: ANOOQRR 15F ORRA +16 430
#note I could play QIN for 29, but I decide to block the lower triple and keep the Q with 2 U's left Su likely hasn't been holding on to.
>Su_Walker: A -A +0 201
#note Su exchanged a small number of tiles, can't remember exactly how many.
>Chris_Tallman: CILNOQU H1 QUIN +47 477
>Su_Walker: E -E +0 201
#note There may have been a phoney attempted on one of the exchange turns here.
>Chris_Tallman: CFGLOT F4 G.FT +35 512
#note Partial rack.
>Su_Walker: T M11 T.. +4 205
>Chris_Tallman: ACLORSU O1 CA.S +39 551
#note I saw that she blocked CAROLUS with TID, but didn't know the anagram RUCOLAS (alternate spelling for RUGOLA) - 11k probability, just outside what I'd reviewed for the tourney.
>Su_Walker: ACEEHMN N9 CHE +18 223
>Chris_Tallman: LORU O11 LOUR +8 559
>Chris_Tallman: (AEMN) +12 571
