#note he considered HAVARTI as well, which sims a point ahead, and VIA sims best by a tiny bit

#note MATEY maybe, tho it opens. MAYA MAY MATEY all reasonable, I think I would do MATEY cause MAY doesnt keep PHONO hooks for -AN- type plays, stll makes an S hook
>Jackson: AABEEMR 9D BEMA +19 73
#note better than AMEBA to make 8a harder to hit, plus I keep an A.

#note usually would like to play more tiles with ?? out, but the pool is not amazing, and NU is a really aggressive option to make a lane that works great with my leave, so I can hit the B column when it stays open. I considered NU and NUDGES mostly, but a cool option is M1 GERUND for 19, saving just the N with 4 Is to draw is great positionally (only one N in the pool too), plus reaches even more for the blank than NUDGES. NU still bingoes the most of course, even NUDGES more than GERUND, but GERUND is a great longterm play. I think it's close between NU and GERUND.
>Josh_Sokol: DIIKLPQ 15H KID +28 276
#note a nice upside is that he is often inclined to sacrifice to block
>Jackson: ?DEGNRU B7 R.pUGNED +72 300
#note although this does lower his bingo % the most, I am so far from being out of the water here that I should do this at B2 for 4 more, allowing a few more bingoes but being better equipped to outrun, not only having 4 more immediately but allowing slightly worse response parallels cause of the P at B4
>Josh_Sokol: ?EILPQT 2J QuILT. +68 344

#note saving the B hook for WEB parallels, not many tiles in the pool hook well
>Josh_Sokol: EEOPSUY L1 Y.PE +26 370
>Jackson: ABDEINZ C12 ABED +36 365
#note did not see WEBZINE, which is sick, but I think is not worth playing cause it gives so many good responses like OUZO or FEZ or FUZE. I liked leaving 2 in the bag cause any good scoring play will empty the bag. BED was nice to keep the A, which works well with the pool, plus making (N)AZI score 7 more, but I felt like the timing was ultimately too rough, allowing far too many 2 tile plays that leave 1 in the bag for him.
>Josh_Sokol: EEFOOSU D8 ..USE +20 390
#note ABUSE is a really nice preendgame play to block NAZI, outscore enough to outrun almost all out in twos. The only loss seems like FILNORW after drawing IZ, which loses to RIFL(E)/CECAL then M2 LOWN after ZOO, a sequence which Josh saw over the board but miscalculated as winning by 1 instead of losing by 1. The other play that might be better than ABUSE is OF/ABO, which blocks most CECAL plays and seems to outrun basically all endgames since I can't do many out in twos. The only loss I can see with it is drawing WZ, where I hit RIF M4 then OL(EF)IN or g1 LINO. There might be more losses I didnt find but OF may be the best play. either way, Josh is in a great position here
>Jackson: FIILNOZ G1 FILO +17 382
#note considered (R)IF, seems like that might be the best endgame, but was going for WOOFER being played and being invalid here. I thought RIF had some crazy outside shot of working if he blocks FIZ and then I play ZIT and he misses CECAL/LENO, but even then he can usually outrun by chance
