#player2 Annette_Obrestad Annette Obrestad
>Jonathan_Lindh: AAEFIOR 8D FERIA +24 24
#note Best. I spent a while on this turn because nothing looked super appealing. I also considered 8G OAF for 12 which is 2nd best.
>Annette_Obrestad: OO D8 .OO +6 6
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEENOUX 7F EX +36 60
#note No sense in blocking. Annette was probably vowel heavy with a blankless S leave. Quackle likes E10 EAUX for 24 more but I have to disagree given the X spot it sets up.
>Annette_Obrestad: AENNRST 11D TANNERS +71 77
#note Best.
>Jonathan_Lindh: AEINOOU 10H NAOI +14 74
>Annette_Obrestad: JKO E5 JOK. +44 121
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?AEGOSU I2 GAsEOUS +68 142
#note Seems fine.
>Annette_Obrestad: OVW F4 VOW.. +41 162
>Jonathan_Lindh: DDNNRST 5H T.ND +10 152
#note Sizable miss. I whiffed on 9C NODS for 35.
>Annette_Obrestad: AALM 3C LAMA +24 186
#note Scored as 22.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ADHNRRS L1 HARDS +32 184
#note 9C RODS for 36. Still missing the D9 spot.
>Annette_Obrestad: DIQ 2K Q.ID +28 214
>Jonathan_Lindh: CHNNPRY 12B PRY +38 222
#note Best.
>Annette_Obrestad: ADETTY B10 YA.ED +38 252
>Annette_Obrestad: ADETTY -- -38 214
#note Partial rack.
>Jonathan_Lindh: CCHIINN 4A CHIN +30 252
#note Best.
>Annette_Obrestad: ADETTY A4 .ATTY +30 244
>Jonathan_Lindh: CIMNOTT B10 TO.IC +22 274
#note Best.
>Annette_Obrestad: DEG 9C G.D +24 268
#note Annette finds the spot I repeatedly missed.
>Jonathan_Lindh: EEGLMNT 12I MELT +20 294
#note Close. Quackle likes METE in the same spot due to the many unseen E's. I had the right idea, though.
>Annette_Obrestad: EIL B2 EL.I +23 291
#note Cool play!
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EEEGNU 13A G.E +12 306
#note If I had listened to Quackle the last turn, I would have bingoed with M6 LUNGEEs/METEs. I also missed 4I SUEDE for 10.
>Annette_Obrestad: APW H1 WAP +31 322
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EEENOU - +0 306
#note Still SUEDE. I traded down to EEN? exchanging EOU.
>Annette_Obrestad: IU F10 U.I +5 327
#note I thought Annette had the S here but I was wrong.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?BBEELN 13L EBB +16 322
#note Moment of truth. Annette's last play worried me given the unseen S. However, you can't play scared. EBB forks the board for my bingo. EBB is by far the best play. EBB was one of my favorite strategic plays of the tournament.
>Annette_Obrestad: EEFUZ N2 .EFUZE +39 366
#note Annette didn't have the S. 14H FUZEE for 40 is worth considering in addition to DEFUZE because FUZEE takes out the easier 14 row, but Annette has to hope I didn't draw a bingo at this point.
>Jonathan_Lindh: ?EEILNR O7 RELINEs +80 402
#note I scored RELINES as 78. O6 aLIENER is 83 so I made the 2nd best play.
>Jonathan_Lindh: (IORSUV) +18 420
#note Final score recorded as 418-364. The only mistakes of note were missing the tricky JOKE underlaps and the SUEDE overlap plays. Pleased with the way I played this game.
