#note CN? sims close to a point ahead, along with CL?, the case of bingoing the same % but CN? scoring a bit more in the process

#note pretty close in the sim between a few plays - LAW, WI(T), (p)AW, and exchanging W. Cant say I considered PAW or WIT, both of which are good options. LAW is pretty standard, EIRT has good potential and it's nice to score 16 points. PAW and WIT set up the hooks, the latter is worth sacrificing points for because AELRT works so much better with the floating Is than EILRT. Bingo percentage from 57 to 73%. Finally, exchanging W is sneakily good here, AEILRT hits 92% in a sim. The thing is a fair amount of these are through the C or N, which could get blocked if he plays a bit defensively, but thankfully the lower part of INCIPIT isnt as helpful and thats the easier place to block. Also, the C in incipit prohibits a full overlap, so at least some section of lanes will stay open. Close call altogether, I think I would have played WIT had I considered it
>Josh_Sokol: AADFORU I6 AFAR +24 96
#note A cool idea is I7 FADO. Josh considered I5 FADO and AFAR mostly. FADO I5 is nice to block the C, one of the better lanes open to me. But after the game we talked about how an S is actually not too high in my range, since it's really rare to have an ex 1 situation containing an S rack where I don't already have a bingo through one of the tiles. With a lot of S racks as well, I can play for 10-20 keeping a great 5 tile leave, since a lot of S 6 tile leaves aren't such a big dropoff to some subset 5 tile leaves. FADO I7 therefore is a cool option to swing an S hook when he thinks I don't have it, setting up a scorig spot for himself to take next turn, and scoring 2 more in the process. FOU also sims fairly well

>Jackson: DEHISTW E6 WHIST.ED +65 170
#note cool situation where it's pretty reasonable to forgo a natural bingo early in the game. THEW is 50 and keeps a nice leave. Ultimately DIS isnt quite good enough to justify the sacrifice, plus the D in WHISTLED can help develop the bottom of the board
>Josh_Sokol: AFMOOPS A8 POM. +30 242
#note Josh told me he considered FLOP/PAP, but was worried about making such a big double double lane. FLOPS is a cool idea with that in mind, scoring 12 more in the process and not making a lane. POOP and POMP still sim best though, which is interesting. I guess blocking the P and U is a nice idea, especially with the Q scoring so big automatically around 10-15% of the time.

#note VEER sims second behind AZURE. I am inclined to still play VEER given that though, since the vowels and the U are a bit undervalued in a sim, with a consonant heavy pool and the Q out. Considered RAZEE as well to split the differense. the Z is not especially strong here but is still a good tile and can help me get out of some messy situations. Close call though, since drawing the Q immediately is not so bad with QI options

>Jackson: AELNNUZ K1 ZEN +19 388
#note a sim really liked UNFED but that makes no sense to me. I figured the pool wasnt great to hit 1 row Z plays, and if I draw some vowels I can win that way. That said, if my plan is to draw vowels, maybe I can just do HAZEL and draw vowels to outrun, or even Q and a vowel for 10J. Might be the better idea to squeak it out, even though it's daunting to be down a tempo with NNU
