>David_Weisberg: ACDELRU 8D CAULD +22 22
#note Sims about a point ahead of 8G CUD, which I hadn't considered that closely. Quackle also suggests exchanging U, which sims only 1.5 behind CAULD. I'm not sure how well exchanging does against humans here, though.
>Ed_Liebfried: HIRTW E6 WR.ITH +24 24
#note D1 VARROA for 31
>David_Weisberg: AAEORRV D3 ARVO +19 41
#note D1 VARROA for 31, which wins a sim by 4 points
>Ed_Liebfried: ?AEEEGL H8 .ELEGAtE +83 107
>David_Weisberg: AAAEOOR 12G A.ORAE +14 55
#note I thought about exchanging to AER or ER, but I thought this was just enough points to justify, as well as opening the board a bit. In a sim, it is better in equity by about 1.2 over keeping AER, and 1.6 over ER. It comes out less than 1% lower in win percentage. The AO leave is far from ideal but playing through may help keep from falling behind as quickly, and prevents some immediate blocking plays next next to DELEGATE. Still a toss-up to me though.
>Ed_Liebfried: AEENNPS 14E PEN.ANES +63 170
>David_Weisberg: AGNOORT 15A TROGON +33 88
#note Missed the possibility of 15A AGOROT for 30, creating an ING spot for the N I am holdiing. However, it is 3 fewer points, and many A's have been played already. TROGON wins a sim by about 2.5.
11G NEGATOR 29 is kind of neat and opens another S hook, but I need to take that triple before he can score a lot more on it. And it keeps an O I don't need and sacrifices points.
>Ed_Liebfried: QT 3C Q.T +24 194
>David_Weisberg: AAEIKUY 11K YAK +32 120
#note For some reason I was blind to KAY in the same spot for 34. It sims less than half a point better than YAK, perhaps due to the 4 unseen O's allowing more counterplay. I'm unlikely to have much there next turn if I draw an O myself, but an S could lead to bingos with the right draw.
I don't remember if I considered YEUK 13C 34, but it beats KAY and YAK by over 8 points. This might be due to keeping three vowels instead of four, or just not giving Ed the N column. He seems likely to take the triple on row 15 if he can, otherwise.
>Ed_Liebfried: AEINPST I2 PANTIES +70 264
>David_Weisberg: AEEIMNU H1 MUNI +30 150
#note This comes out less than a point behind 15K MINAE 31, which I didn't see. I would have preferred it for blocking the triple with lots of I's and O's out, along with X, Z, H, and some other scoring tiles, and opening a new bingo line.
