#note Missed D4 ThIAZIDE for 84 points and 5D TAEnIOID for 82 points. If I had seen both, I would have played TANEOID.

#note Quackl says L7 NOVA (AMN) for 10 points is clearly the superior play. I was suprised to see it was better by 10 points. I think it's a combination of the better leave with NOVA increasing my chances to bingo next turn and the defensive nature of NOVA limiting Frank's chances to score. Looking at the board position, things are actually pretty closed, which means I'm giving a lot away by opening up the triple line with NOMAD.

#note I was happy with this play, and Frank noted too after the game that this was a big play that got me back in the game. It scores 40 points and opens up the board, which is what I need. It also turns over five tiles which increases my chances to draw an S or blank, both valuable on this board.

#note Giving turns away by playing fake words is not the way back into the game. I had a few concentration lapses like this throughout the tournament, like overdrawing tiles a few times. Quackle says 9K YEP (AGOT) for 28 points is best. B9 OY/YA is another decent option
